Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

What is the plight of the Indian colleges is that the lack of industrial exposure. Students merely know about the realtime problems and the applications of their observations. The curriculum is good but doesn't meet the advancement happening outside. It is up to the student who needs to fill this gap. The examination system is purely conventional. We have 6 theory subjects and 3 lab practical subjects. The total marks for each subject are 100 out of which 30 marks we get from the Internal Examinations and the rest of the 70 Marks is conducted at the end of the Semester called External Examination.

College Events

1

In an Academic year, there is one annual techno-cultural Fest called "Mohana Mantra". This is the fest in which students of other colleges also come and participate in the events conducted by the college. Mohana Mantra is a 3-day event. In the day sessions, technical workshops will be conducted and in the evening there will be a DJ night. This is the same for day 2 also. On the 3rd day, participants will be given their memorandum. Sports day is another big event conducted by the college in which all the active sports participants will compete. Annual day is conducted on the occasion of chairman birthday. Department fests will also be conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a bit expensive for a regional college and for the facilities they are providing. Our college is hailed in the rural area where most of the students are poor and middle classes. For the quality of the education that they are providing the fees is a bit expensive for the poor. But feasible for the upper middle class and rich.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college in partnership with many renown banks provides full tuition fee scholarships to its students. All the things that students have to do are to study and get a decent earning to clear the debt.

Campus Life

4

If you're trying to have good extracurricular activities then say a big no to this colleges. There is nothing apart from the academics and co-curriculars. There are no student run clubs that actively function. Coming to sports there is no ground for the college. Labs are old. Half of the machinery isn't working.

Alumni/Alumna

There is vidyanikethan alumni network. Every year there is a reunion for the college alumnus. There's no live interaction between us and the alumni happened. Senior students guides juniors very well. They are very helpful.

Admission

Admissions are done through the EAMCET, an entrance examination through which students are allocated seats on their choices based on their merit factor. There are 3 rounds of seat allocating process. In 1st round the top rankers will be given priority and so on. I got my seat allocated here based on my priorities. The admission form should be submitted along with the certificates and other formalities.

Faculty

3

We can't pass a generalised statement on the faculty. Some of the faculty are so good as they gonna innovate something great in upcoming years and some of them are not as great as we expect them to be. Some of the faculty are great in research side than teaching. So in a nutshell, faculty are good.

Reviewed on Nov 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
