Remarks

Only students with high merit can get seat in GCE. Getting a seat in gce is a dream for many. I am extremely lucky to be a part of the institution. This college teaches professional knowledge plus life lessons.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a computer science and engineering graduate from GCE-TVL. Its a 4year graduation course. Each year there will be 2 semester each consisting of 3 internals. Internal marks will be for 100 which is then converted to 20. Likewise semester exams will be for 100 and it will be converted to 80.

The ultimate goal of education is employment. GCE-TVL gives you 100% guarantee for job placements if you are devoted to your core stream. There are plenty of on-campus and off-campus opportunities in this institution.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure in government colleges are comparatively lower than that of other private colleges. College fees and other expenses are completely affordable by a middle class family. Government also provides scholarships to the eligible candidates.

Since GCE is a government aided college all the scholarships are provided by the state government. As per the reservation students can avail their scholarships through proper paperworks. Other than scholarship one can also apply for loan by consulting the bank officials.

Campus Life

GCE students are very good at sports. The college campus has special coaches for various games. Sports day is celebrated in a grand manner. Every department has separate laboratory depending upon their subject needs. It's fully equipped with latest gadgets.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year the passed out students are grouped together by alumni meet. There is separate committee to handle alumni related stuffs. Senior students help the current students financially if there is a need. They also provides guidance.

Admission

Admission is carried over by TNEA through counseling. Since am 2017 passed out I had my counseling during the year 2013 which was conducted at Anna University Chennai campus. But now a days regional centres also plays a vital role.

Faculty

Faculties in this institution are extremely talented and experienced. They are also very much helpful to the students in clarifying their doubts whenever they are approached for doubts in their respective subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
