My college experience

The teachers should be more experienced the college management is not that good to get our problems solved is a very hectic work and a very time taking one.

Amity has its own entrance they didnt disclose the scores. I opted for amity as it has good infrastructure and being in delhi i could go to the high Court supreme Court district courts.

Our course and curriculum is really good though we have some extra things that we dont need in a law degree such as electives and a foreign language. Our teachers are mostly very young so not that experienced.

I did my internship in a family law related firm. It was not sugested by the college i found it and did it on my own. The college just gives a recommendation letter and arranges a internship for those who are not able to arrange it themselves. Internships are easy to get as being in delhi a lot of courts are around us

Placements are good in amity in all the courses in law the highest package went upto 16 lacks. The job opportunities are good after studying here people go abroad for their further studies amity has its programmes for sending people abroad for further studies

We have a sports function for a month thats called sangathan. Every month a celebrity comes to amity for their movie promotion.we have a amity youth fest in which various colleges come to perform. We have moot courts. A lot of seminars in which a lot of judges and high ranked people come

Our fees is 2 lacks per semester. Being a law course it is expensive and if a person is getting a late admission or has got less marks he has to pay 3 lacks per year which is a lot every year it increases by 10 thousand we have to pay fees every semester which is 1 lack a semester

If a student gets 93% plus in boards they gets 100% scholarship and if he gets 90% the he gets 50% scholarship. After joining If he is a topper in his class he gets 30% scholarship .

There are a lot of moot court competition with a lot of prizes and a lot of debates. Sports are good here but not enough space for the amount of people. The campus is very strict for a college. Even a healthy friendship between a boy and a girl is discouraged. Campus life has its negatives and positives we have a proper gaming zone also with pool and ps3 air hockey snooker bowling alley to everything.

Mess is good and cheap. There are things like subway dominos cafe coffee day. The pgs cost from 6 thousand to 15 thosand depending on their facilities all are at walkable distance hostel fees is 70 thousand for non ac and 1 lack 40 thousand for ac.

Is a new course so there is no alumni till now. The first batch of our seniors just passed out so we dont know much about it. Rest we make teams with our seniors for moot courts and in games so the only place we can interact and develop a friendship are these places rest we are a new college so it will take time for us to get a alumni and a group of seniors to look upto.

Exams are held twice a year and a small internal also for 20 marks twice a year they give enogh time in the middle
