Course Curriculum Overview

It is useful. Always try for higher studies and all. Exams are two mid semesters. Followed is Practical exams. Project submission and what not. Then finally exams or the semesters which is hard. Um nothing else to say

Placement Experience

No they don't give internship. Not worthwhile ones. They are usually paid and wont help your career. Better you look out for other internships. Job placement is good. Students get jobs. But if that is worth your while. I know not

College Events

Freshers. Agomoni. All these kinds of stuff are there. Besides that these are really fun and informative. Life is good. Other codechef e events are also held. You can bunk saying you are taking part in these events

Admission

Went. Showed my class 12 result. Gave the money. Admission done. You go in the office. Crunk the coffee they give wait. Form comes in. Fill it out. Give them the money. They will say acha bacha and what not. Admission done

Faculty

They are pretty friendly. Some are obviously pathetic but that is the thing of all colleges. They are helpful. Security is good. They are lineant and the most helpful. The non teaching staff is also cool

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I have not applied to any other colleges. UEM is the first college where i had applied for the first and last time. I chose this college as it is the closest from my home where i did not have to live in hostel. Secondly it has decent placements. Lastly i saw many positive reviews about the college that it is one of the best private colleges in the eastern region of india.
