Average College

Overall the college is average to me. Positive remarks is that the college does have a decent amount of companies visiting for placement which is good for students. However negative point is that the college and college faculty only focus on students gaining marks not knowledge which I think is bad. College does not well support students who can do better by helping them intern in companies before final year.

The course curriculum looks outdated but the method of content delivery is also not good, students do not have any free lecture, time to refresh in whole day except for lunch, I think there should be some relaxation like other courses give to their students. There are usually 3-4 exams per semester.

I'm currently in second year so I'm not well aware of placements but I've seen many companies visiting our campus for placement. From seniors I've known that they don't provide NOC (No objection certificate) to students who are willing to do intership rather than attending the class.

Our college has very poor intrest in functions and events. There are rarely 2-3 major functions. Freshers Party- 2nd year Students organize freshers party for 1st year students. The college does not help much, the money for party is also collected from students, and still the party doesn't meet the level. Sports events - The college do organize sports events but the faculty is very unwilling about it.

The fees structure is like other colleges, a little cheaper than others. But they collect the entire year amount within the first or second month the of the year which is very bad. They should divide the fees in installments like for 1st semester and for the next semester.

The college does not provide any kind of scholarship to students though I was told that early 5 students in each branch were given relaxation of entire tuition fees. However students can avail state government scholarship like UP goverment scholarship and bihar government scholarship.

Labs are not well enough, though every lab has a poster saying TCS certified lab but I don't think TCS would ever certify such quality of labs. For sports there a basketball court, a volleyball court and a very small field for football.

Seniors are usually helpful. We can ask for help regarding anything. They also take intrest in helping juniors. I never saw ragging by seniors in our college which is really good. Seniors help for notes regarding any subject.

College takes admission through UPTU counseling but it also allows students to take direct Admission based on 12th results. For direct Admission I was told that they only take students whose aggregate marks in PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Math) is atleast 70% I had cleared this criteria, But later on I realised they took admission of students having less than that.

Some faculty are supportive, some are not. Some help student for extra curriculum activities like sports, intership, help in building profile, while the rest are only focused on students to achieve high marks, they don't focus on knowledge, they search for marks.
