My grads college

I found my college is best ever not only in academics but also encourage in other fields like sports robotics etc. Faculties were very very good and knowledgeable and never disappoint me. Whenever I require any kind of help they were ready to help me.

I was a Bengali medium student and it was hard to understand English lectures for me but the professors were helpful and helped me a lot. There are 6 semester (duration of each semester is 6 months) and at starting semester subjects are not so tough but one will find tougher subjects in higher semesters. There are subjects like AI(Artificial intelligence) in 4th or 5th semester. So Course curriculum is perfect for all types of students. Exam to be taken after end of each semester and grades are given as marks.

My college took many companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS and Tech Mahindra but I opted for MCA so I didn't attend the campusing provided by college. My college don't provide internships to students but anyone can try for internships into nearby companies out there and for that college do whatever the help is required for that student.

college fest annual sports inter college sports competition Cultural functions Alumni meet(not every year) I saw observations of these in my lifespan of 3 years out there. I took part in annual sports and won prizes in Chess game.

at my time in 2009-2012 it was 25000 per semester. Not feasible for everyone as one will have extra cost for accommodation and food. I don't know current fee structure but surely it will be higher and near 35-40k per semester. I will rate it as expensive.

My father was a teacher and we are from middle class background. we had no issues with the course fee and all. So I didn't opt for it and I have no idea about that. I had no scholarship as I didn't try for that.

My college is very much active in these. It has it's own gym and two big playgrounds. and lab facility is also very good. there are separate labs for each department. I was in IT department and labs were awesome. There were more that 1:1 computers!

Hostel was good although I have not opted for it. I don't like to stay in hostel with lot of people. I feel good to stay with min people so that I can study properly. At my time it(hostel fees)was 3200 per month for food and accommodation both. which I feel a little bit expensive.

Yes seniors were very much helpful. I have contacts with very few seniors till now and they are working in multinational companies. They were very much helpful when I was a junior also. They had helped by giving intputs to my project also.

I had an interview there. I had cleared higher secondary exam in April 2009 and after results in July I went there in Dr B C Roy engineering college for admission. And I got selected on the basis of marks I have secured in madhyamik and higher secondary examination.

Faculty were so helpful at my time. I had project in 5th and 6th sem. The co-ordinator was so helpful and guided me whenever required. I had made a project on the topic of college management system and he had given me a lot of inputs and small details what I had missed to add. Finally I had secured 10 out of 10 on that project.
