The college is very much strict with it's rules and regulations. Students hardly get any holiday in PIBM. The college is open even during sensitive days like election day. Students who have attendance below 80% are not allowed to sit for exam, also students need to maintain an overall attendance of 80% in each subject inorder to sit in exam for that subject. The college needs to be more friendly towards the students and flexible with the rules to some extent.

The college provides both MBA and PGDM degree. The syllabus of MBA is regulated by Savitribai Phule Pune University while for PGDM, the course is designed by the college itself. I am currently under the PGDM course, this course is more practical oriented than theory writing. Projects and assignments hold a vital part in all over academic result along with 2 semesters per year and two midterms as well. So as a PGDM student am getting more exposure to corporate world by making projects and assignments on regular basis, also case study analysing session for each subject helps to understand the practicality of the concept at a deepee level.

The college provides two internships to it's students. One during winter and one for Summer. Each of the internships take place for 45 days to 60 days where the student gets to learn directly from corporate professionals. As for stipend, the range of stipend varies from 4k to 15k , depending on the work and the location as well. The placement of PIBM is pretty decent, more than 200 companies visit the campus during placement campusing and the average package of this college is about 6.5 lakhs, which is not bad considering ROI on Fees.

The college is engaged in various events though out the year. Each month the college hosts corporate events to invite experienced corporate people from all over the globe in order to provide students with knowledge regarding the corporate world. Some of the famous college events are listed below CEO Meet day Fmcg day International press conference day Pioneer convergence day, etc.

The academic fees for two years is 6,95,000 only, which is quite affordable considering the kind of package the college provides. Hostel, Transportation and foodcharges are charged separately. For that a student needs to pay 1,10,000 extra per year. Staying is hostel and availing transport for the first year is compulsory. In second year the student can look for their own means of transportation and PG.

No scholarship is provided in PIBM. You have to arrange your own loan from government banks inorder to escape the hefty interest rate of private banks. The college will provide with loan schemes from private banks but it's better to look for loan on your own to avoid unnecessary extra charges.

The institute only focuses on academics, no time for sports, though gym area is there for students to maintain their fitness. There is no playground for students to play. There is a room for indoor games where students can play Table tennis or carrom, but no dedicated field for outdoor sports like football or cricket, which is a big let down for sports enthusiasts like me.

The hostel is situated in a remote area where facilities are limited. No food delivery app works here, neither Ola. But the internal facilities provided by college is pretty much commendable. We have washing machine, immersion rod, fan for drying clothes, inverter to be installed soon as per batch in charge. We live in a society with local residents living next door, so smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited in hostel premises.

The seniors are pretty helpful over here. Whenever I have any query, I approach them to find answers. The seniors and Alumnies arranged for our fresher's in JW Marriott, Pune, where we got to interact with a lot of new seniors. Overall it's a good experience with seniors.

A student must appear in any of the entrance exam for MBA (CAT, MAT,CMAT). If not , then the student must go through college's own online admission test known as PMAT. After appearing for any of the above admission test, the student is called up for either Skype interview or in the regional office of the college. The interview through skype is similar to PI, but the selection process through regional office is somewhat different. In regional office, student needs to go through GD round before appearing for PI. If the student manages to clear all the rounds, he/she is called up over phone to take admission in the college within 2 weeks.

The college provides both internal and external guest faculties for the students to provide a fine amalgamation of knowledge and skills to it's students. All the faculties of this college are very much knowledgeable and friendly towards the students.
