I chose my Engineering In the Steam Of Electrical And Electronics Engineering In Vel Tech college affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. So the exam pattern is similar to that of the Anna university. It had 10- 2 marks and 5- 16 mark questions making it total of 100 marks with 20 internal marks.

The placements are one of the important and the last step of the college journey. Vel Tech college offers wide opportunities to the students by inviting many leading organisations for campus hiring. So students who have the desired skillset get placed and start their professional career.

There are many events conducted in Vel Tech college year around. There is an annual sports days conducted in the month of February. There is two Symposium on the month of March. There are also supervisor events conducted on several festivals celebrated in the country.

The fees structure is feasible and not so high when compared to similar colleges. For B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) the fess is Rs. 58,000 per year for Regular joining students and Rs.38,000 for Merit counselling joined students.

Yes. The hostels are very good and the food provided is excellent. The hostel fees for a year comes around Rs.80,000 and it offers many facilities like Gym, playgrounds for Basketball, cricket, badmiton.

I got the admission through Anna University Counselling Called TNEA in the year 2015. Based on my cut-off marks from my 12th std, I got a seat in this college. The list of colleges will be available according to your cut-off and seat availability, so you should choose your preferred college.

The faculties are well trained and know how to handle the class. They are very clear about the topic they teach and how to teach so that the students like us can easily understand the subject clearly. But they are also strict sometimes.
