The Life Changing Years

College is decent to study and learn from faculty. The rest of the career development is onerous and one should be self reliant to sustain and grow in this environment.

EAMCET - 90 This college is in the vicinity of my home and is known for good faculty in Electricals. Since I have great propensity towards EE technology I've opted for this college.

The course curriculum is moreover bent as per JNTU Kakinada University norms and is pretty much hectic due to profession of other subjects which are of no use in real time.

My college didn't provided me with any internship opportunities. They might have supported if students are interested to join organization or public sector bodies for any projects but apart from that there is are no chances at all.

Placements are good, I've been placed in Tech Mahindra, the then Mahindra Satyam as a software engineer with a decent package. I'm one among the three guys placed at Tech Mahindra .

IIZA is the tech festival that was condusted by EE department every year by the 4th year students. It's a big tech buzz to invite students from all over India to come and participate in various events and competitions. Apart from that college hold seminars from prominent figures in technological and research fields to promote students interest and college activities all over India.

Fee Structure is feasible. Since i joined a normal entry i paid fee as per Govt. norms and its feasible with a bank loan. The extra fee paid is only for building fund and placements which amount to a total of 20K INR.

I've availed a loan from SBI for the 4 years and the college accredited in the form of quotations and reduction of other fee.

Campus life is average as per the standards set by the college governing body. Things started to roll after we came in with tech fests. Gender ratio is 2:1 as in men:women and differs from department to department. People from various states studied in our class. Notably Bengali and Oriya state are prominent to be found. Labs are good. Sports are to a nominal level to compete at inter-college level but no facilities are provided as such.

Hostel was not so good enough back in 2011, things might have changed now and should be good with 10 years up and running successfully.

Alumni meets are seldom held and students bodies contact us for help during placements and events, apart from these there is no big progress in this area.

It's really awesome from a faculty point of view. Our then HOD and present HOD hold Ph.D and they are very good communicators in terms of teaching profession and gave us extreme support.
