Remarks
One positive thing I want to add. Student politics. It is the best part in my college life. I was a member of SFI, which is a leftist student's organisation. SFI always fights for the rights of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus of the course is too good for a bsc student, if a student completes his/her bsc from here, he already knows 30% of his/her msc syllabus. And exam structure is no doubt better than any other colleges in India
Placement Experience
I dont have any experience about the internship and stipend. But there is a placement cell which used to work better some years ago, but nowadays it is less functional about job opportunities, nominal placements.
College Events
Our college celebrates a huge number of events. I can tell about 3 big events. 1) ISPAT - Fest organised by SFI 2) ICON - Fest organised by IC 3) MILIEU - Fest organised by student's union These are festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I was admitted to this college, the fee structure was not very expensive, almost every student can afford that amount of money. But gradually the fee structure is becoming a burden to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont know anything about any scholarship or loan facility, actually I didn't like my college authority, They weren't familiar with the students. They always took decisions which can harm students and curb student politics
Campus Life
I dont know anything about labs. But in Extracurricular activities, Our college should be ranked first. Always there is some creative move by the students. And sports, our college students can represent state and national teams.
Alumni/Alumna
I became alumnus very recently, so dont know too much about that. But I heard that some horrible people are in the head of alumni association so the network is not so good. I got some helpful seniors who loved me a lot.
Admission
After the entrance exam, a merit list was published, then they called me for counselling, after counselling in a given date, I went to the college with all the necessary documents and my admission was completed
Faculty
I dont know too much about the facilities of other departments, But if I have to tell about the facilities of our department, Then I will tell that faculties are well qualified and we need more faculties like them. But some of the faculties do personal attack to the students, One day their life will punish themselves.
