Best merit based admission process without any reservations. Faculty is overall good. Infrastructure of some blocks and hostels must be improved. Secure college and hostel for girls (it is one of the reason girls opt for this college).

The course curriculum is a bit old when compared to instituitions like IIT . You have to study some irrelevant courses to the modern time. But rest is all good. You will be conducted three mid exams called as CIA(continuous comprehensive evaluation) and the best 2 out of 3 will be considered for 50% of the final score and a final semester exam will be conducted for the rest of 50%.

Placements are good mainly for the computer science students. But you have very less opportunities when it comes to other branches. As an IT student i got to know there are plenty of chances to get a job. Everyone from computer science will get placed no matter what but the package may differ from 3-20 lpa.

We are having three events one for sports named Colosseum where students from other colleges do participate too. Technical event called daksh ,where there will be many workshops ,events and fun events are conducted. And kuruksastra the cultural event it includes singing, dancing, performances by artists etc. Each event will be for three days.

Fee structure is feasible around 65000 per semester. If you opt for hostel fee can be from 10000 to 25000 per year and around 3500 per month for mess. The fee structure is feasible when compared to other instituitions at the cost of less infrastructure.

Scholarship will be provided for the fisrt 400 students based on CGPA every year of about 16000 rupees if you fulfill some criteria like attendance , no backlogs , no fines . Several banks will offer you student loans during the admission only with minimal interest rates.

The labs are well equipped . Many sports grounds are available across the college like football, volleyball,cricket,tennis,basketball . Many teams are there to help you participate in extracurricular activities such as singing, dancing, dramas, entrepreneurship, NSS, etc.

Alumnis can be accessed from the official website. Senior students are very helpful. There is no ragging at all in the college. You can approach any senior student regarding any doubts with no fear . Everyone is so friendly.

You just have to apply for it on its official website sastra.edu mentioning your 12th and JEE mains marks or just the 12th marks . You will be given ranks based on that marks and requested to attend the seat selection process. You have to select required branch in the selection. You will be called in the order of your ranks. You will have to pay the first semester fee as advance on seat booking and the hostel fee too if you opt for hostel.

Not all the faculty are good. Some does not know the subject very well and makes you rot learn. But some are well experienced as you pass the first year. They will give maximum efforts to make you understand.
