About Poornima university

I have been in this college for more than two and half year so I feel like a person to comment on the college that it's a good place to study but you have to study on your own you don't expect anything from the teachers you will get opportunities you have to just avail them you don't have to follow anyone but some things are not very good but it's and I would say 5 out of 10 yeah so it's 50% chance in private colleges it's good but if you don't get an admission in government college you can avail Pune university for higher studies

in my opinion the course is divided perfectly for a student to score well and do other things also the course is divided into 4 exams first is CIE-1 and second is mid semester examination and third is CIE-2 and fourth is end semester examination CIE-1 carries 6 marks and mid semester examination carries 12 marks and CIE- 2 carries 6 marks and end semester carries 60 marks so over all the marks is hundred including some internal marks also

I am currently in 3rd year so I haven't been to any such placements but I have given some moke drives related to placements they are very helpful in knowing that how company works and how they hire students like first is aptitude round second is GD and the third is HR and then interview I haven't got to know about any internships in our college so I don't think our college provide any internships but we have to go for an internship out of the college compulsory in 6th semester so that's a good thing but our college does not provide such internships

I college celebrates many good events like the top of that it is lakshya which is celebrated every year as an annual sports fest which includes technical social and every kind of activity and DJ night also and other than that our college have manthan which is a debate competition which goes from class level then steps up to department level and then college level and then instituition level and other events are like some NASA convention going on in a college which I don't know much about but there are definitely NASA convention which are going on in the month of October and some other activities are also there which you will get to know about if you go on to the website of the university

In my opinion the fees which I am paying is high then the opportunities which I am getting I expected more out of my college but I was disappointed to see many things that I didn't expect them but the fee structure is definitely not very much good it could be better I pay about 1.2 lakh per year for college and about 25,000 for transportation so overall the college is not much expensive but according to the money they are taking from us they could give more opportunity to us and make it a better place.

Our college have a scholarship system which is very easy to avail based on grades in first year we get scholarship based on 12th grades and in second year we get scholarship based on our first year marks and in third year we get scholarship based on 2nd year marks and so on so the scholarship is very easy to avail you just have to keep your grades up and the main thing to notice that the grades that they give you scholarship only on theory exam based not practical that is practical marks are not counted while giving scholarships scholarships make to up to hundred percent of the tuition fees so if you study well you can get up to 100% scholarship on the tuition fees and it goes as low as 20%

if we see an overview our college provide us with activities which we can participate and learn from them but I have seen that these activities are not taken very seriously the labs are good in first year but as we move on to higher level the labs are not good ,like the assistant and the teachers in the lab they don't teach us very well feels like they don't know the subject well and as far as sports activities are concerned for that our college have student council which maintains these activities and which conducts many other activities like sports dance music singing poetry many things so that thing is working well as individual department is concert the activities are not organised very well but the student council is doing good job on the activities parts so over all the activities and sports are good on college level

our college do call the element in regular intervals likes 3-4 months or maybe less I don't remember so aluminium network is good and its building human eyes are helpful in providing us with the latest trends in the industries many other things

my friend referred this college to me so I search about it on the internet and I got to know that many companies visit and take students for the job in this college so I wanted to know better about the institute so I talk to the institute representatives and had a interview also in the interview they asked me about my grades in 12th and asked me some questions about which branch I have to choose and why and after giving appropriate answers I got selected

In my opinion the college faculty is not very good if I have to rate them out of 10 I would probably give an average of 4 or 5 because they lack in communication skills and they are lazy and I feel that their knowledge is not good so they are not fit for teaching students.the could be better teachers if they practice their job more seriously
