Remarks
Our college is good when it comes to academics, test scheming and teaching. But the college needs to focus more on student welfare and cultural development. Basic amenities like a good canteen are lacking in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration is 4 years, each year consisting of 2 semesters. We have 3 internal exams, one internal practical, one external practical followed by external examinations. In first year there are 4 subjects in each semester, which are common between the children of all streams.
Placement Experience
As said by our seniors, the main SRM Campus provides for a better internship for the sole reason of being the "flagship" campus of all. Our campus students are satisfied with the package of the jobs they get, but certainly main campus students have an edge over us.
College Events
We have 2 fests and one sports day in our college. RUBAROO- CULTURAL FEST INNOVATE- TECHNICAL FEST KHEL- SPORTS DAY Rubaroo is and annual cultural fests of a duration of two days, with lots of fun events. Each day also has a highlight pro night in which artists like Darshan Raval and Nikhil D'Souza have previously perofrmed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible, and I also pay transport fees as I am a day scholar, so the overall fees to facility ratio is good. But the infrastructure needs an upgrade according to the latest standards.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides many scholarship schemes, including founder's scholarship which which is granted to students scoring 1-100 rank in the enterance test. Others include sports scholarship, alumni scholarship, or state or central govt sponsored scholarships.
Campus Life
The college consists of well equipped labs, with all the high-tech equipment that is needed. We have a very huge ground, a basketball court and a volleyball net. But we do not get any time off our daily time table to play so we can play for only s limited time.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful towards the juniors. They are very hard working and provide support in all the fields, whether it be academics or campus wise. The seniors also welcome juniors when it comes to being a part of the fests.
Admission
I was granted admission by the means of enterance test. I attempted the test and got a rank and was given a choice to either opt for chennai campus or Delhi NCR Campus. I chose Delhi NCR Campus and went for the admission process there.
Faculty
The faculty is well educated and well trained. We have teachers with high educational qualification as well as good interpersonal skills. The faculty is very kind as well as very punctual when it comes to teaching.
