Remarks
Positive was the quality and environment provided to study. The mess was not that great, there was the very minimal choice of food. If anyone wants to do mca in Gujarat then this is the best college for them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was of 2 years after BCA. There are a total 4 semesters in the course. 1st 2 semesters are theory and practical based and the last 2 semesters were of theory and project work. In the 4th semester, children have to go out and only do the project.
Placement Experience
Many companies came for the placement. Mainly TCS. The placement incharge was also very helpful. Helped a lot with interviews. 20 companies in all came for the placement. Half of the students were selected.
College Events
All the events have been celebrated. Specially Navratri which is the main celebration. Many tech-related events were also carried out. Farewell, the party was also organized in the college campus. The charges were also minimal.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Most Feasible. The fees structure is divided into two parts one for the government students(who were the top students on the merit list) and the other for the normal students. The fees were 8000 and 20000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship was provided was backward caste candidates. The food and all others charges were paid to them. The scholarship was provided in 2 months after filling the form. General students were not given any scholarships.
Campus Life
Labs were well equipped with 100+ computers. All the labs were fully air-conditioned. There are two labs in the campus and one library was also there. Which gave free books for the semester which have to be returned from time to time.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was the cheapest and the best. There was wifi facility. Clean toilets and bathroom. The security was also very tight. There was a mess in the hostel with a minimal charge for food. The hostel was taken very well care of by the Department.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is not that great. They do not keep in touch with the alumni. The department has to do something to fix this. The senior students were friendly and help if asked. All the people were helpful.
Admission
Through giving the entrance exam GMAT. Then the merit list came for all the colleges of Gujarat. The exam consisted of 100 questions each carried 2 marks. The exam was for all of India. The exam had questions about Reasoning, English, and Basic Mathematics.
Faculty
The faculty was of top class. Most of them were Ph.D. and knowledgeable people. The faculty help through projects and cleared all the doubts and all the processes were handled and carried out professionally.
