Review about my college

When academics is considered our college provides the maximum and it depends on the individual to utilize it. But for cultural events and other events are considered ,some may feel irritated as much interest is not shown in these type of events.Though ,they are conducted , one may not enjoy whole heartedly as they may feel restricted.

Our college is an autonomous instituition. The exam or course curriculum is slightly different from JNTUH College curriculum. But the exams pattern is same as other colleges like 2 semesters and 4 mid terms per year( 2 mids per Semester ) along with lab internal exams which are conducted Twice per semester and lab externals which are conducted( 2 mid terms) Twice pre year. Some special discriptive tests are conducted for the improvement on subjects and that helps for semesters, mid exams.

Actually I don't know much about placement opportunities . But as per my knowledge , top most MNC companies are collaborated with our college and provides an assurance for campus placements. The highest package delivered from our college is 35 lacs( don't know exactly) . Our college provides paid internships which are very much useful for technical training and practice. For mechanical students , we had an automobile internship in which working or engine is explained clearly. As I am still second year of my graduation I may not explain more about this area

Many cultural and academic events are celebrated in our college. For fresher's there will be a welcome party ( fresher's party) which are celebrated branch wise or individual branches. Annual day, Winter fest , summer fest , flash mobs, industrial visits, under 25 summits etc . are conducted for every year . Some celebrities used to visit our college for promotions of their respective films and works

Fee structure is feasible as it just offers 78,000 per annum. It doesn't exceed 1 lakh when considered to academic fees ( jntu fees and nba fees are excluded which are mandatory).Transportation cost 22,000 per annum which is affordable for middle class families as government assure scholarships for some sector of people

As the government provides a scholarship for all college students for some particular people( SC, ST, minority.etc.) . Apart from government scholarship , there is a book bank scheme which is 7000 per annum and it offers text books for whole four years and should be returned back after each semester. Central Library also helps in hiring books for rent for some particular time period.

Extra curricular activities are not very much encouraged . But when they are considered , we have cricket, badminton ,table tennis tournaments held for every year and also encourages to participate in other college events by providing training. For day scholar students . Sports are not scheduled for more time ( 1 hr / week). For hostel students it is a great place to excel in the words 2 big grounds are also present in our college for Sports .

I didnt opted for hostel. But, according to the words from my friends, hostel infrastructure is not so good . It's just ok. There will be seperate hostels for NRI Students and seperate hostels for girls and boys. Common tv and free WiFi , hot water(sometimes)is provided for each hostel and there are Gyms , Gametron which is a hub for Sports and games.etc . For accommodation and food, it is preferable than other private hostels. But fee is somewhat more i.e 70, 000 per annum

Some of the seniors say that it is the best college in Rangareddy with great infrastructure and some may say it is not worthy as compared to other colleges. But , it is not a career spoiling college. It is a strict college where bunks, other harmful events are not encouraged and can be rustigated for illegal businesses and events.

I got 18174 rank in Engineering entrance exam ( EAMCET) which made me to secure seat in the Gurunanak Instituitions Technical Campus (GNITC) , which is an autonomous instituition and I have selected Mechanical engineering in Counselling section . So, I got seat as per my wish

Faculty in our college are qaulity lecturers . Most of the faculty are P.hd graduates and Doctorate holders.For every college's growth Faculty and student bond should be healthy. In our college too, faculty is good as far as I observed . But in some areas, some of them are not effective. Some of them are most helpful . On an average , almost all faculty members are worth in providing disciplined and qaulity education
