Remarks
The campus is really great. If you are a hosteller, believe me it's gonna be the best time of your life. In casebof negative remarks. I think the authorities are way too much religious. Can't blame them because catholic churchnis running the college. Also in some rare situations ego clash between teachers and students were not deakt in a nice way.
Course Curriculum Overview
Back in the days, we used to follow MG university curriculum. But now they have their own curriculum. Exams will be conducted by the college authorities. There will both internal and external valuation.
Placement Experience
Placements arebreally great. Companies like EY, TCS, MRF chosebthis college as their recruitment hub.The college authorities also helps us in preparing for the placement drive. I think our college provide interships. Unfortunately I don't know much about that.
College Events
This is a live campus. They celebrate onam, christmas, arts day, union day, college day.During onam and christmas we conduct certain competitions. Back in the days arts and sports day celebrations were lit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible free structure ( For aided courses).For an aided under graduate course the fee will be 3000/year.In case of a PG it'll be 4000/semester. But in case of self financing courses it'll be around 20000/semester
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship programs offered by government. Otherbthan thatbcollege also helps students who are having financial issues. It's offered by Saint Berchmans college's vincent de paul society. They sponser many students every year.
Campus Life
The labs are really advanced. They've got even a polymer and a plasma lab there.The mictobiology/biotechnology labs are also exceptional. Their sports teams are exceptional. Especially the basketball team. They also support arts, especially drama.
Hostel Facilities
Those Hostels were the best part of my college life. They've got 6 boys hostels and a ladies hostel. The rental charges will be around 10000-12000 per year. And the mess charges will be around 4000-5000 rupees per month. The infrastructure is great. I can vouch for that, because I've been to other hostels, and their hostels were the best
Alumni/Alumna
They've got a great alumni group. It's really active. The alumni Network and senior stufentsbare really helpful. The alumni association also contribute great firbthe well being of the college.The college ia like 90 years old so it's got a huge and effective alumny association.
Admission
I got admission through CAP( centralized allotment process) which was based on the 12th grade result. After being shortlisted in the merit list tgere was an interview (a simple one ). After that I got admission
Faculty
They're all experienced and are very keen about academics. But I afraid most of them follow the conventional method of teaching. In some rare cases thebego clash between students and teachers were not dealt in a nice way. Apart from this they've got a great potential when it comes to faculties.
