Awesome College

Its a great college. Prestigious as we call it. Very old and has produced renowned artists and doctors. I would love to see it get more and more developed and be the best amongst the rest. I will always be proud that i studied in BJGMC.

The course curriculum requires some modifications. Practical study should be given more weightage. Interaction with patients and teaching right then should be more focused on. Exam structure is like we have internal assessment which is calculated on basis of our scores in term ends and prelims. Then these are reduced to 20 or 30 marks and are sent to university and then university exam is at the end of each year or prof. (Total 4). 50% is required for passing or else supplementary.

Placements and job opportunity - we all get a govt. Job after graduation. It depends on us as to continue or leave after 1 year as serving 1 year bond is compulsory after graduating. Internship of 1 year is compulsory prior to graduation and stipend is around 10000/-.

Inter and intracollege events and tournaments are celebrated with huge excitement. Sports - Cricket leagues both tennis and leathet ball, indoor games like table tennis, badminton, carrom, etc. Basketball, kabaddi, volleyball, etc. Cultural - Dance, fashion show, painting, rangoli, skits and etc. Academics - Quizzes both medical related and non medical related topics and subjects based. Symposiums. Case paper presentation. Conferences like respirare, radiology, orthopaedics and etc.

Feasible. Around 80 thousand per annum. But we have govt. Freeship and scholarship facilities for which we can apply and get concession or reimbursements. Also, Books and all are available in the library so helps many students.

Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Yojana - For Economically Backward Caste and other castes. Whose annual income is below a certain value get 50% of the fee reimbursed. In Other scholarships there is a way to get entire fee back or no need to pay as govt. Pays the college for that respective student.

Very Good. Considering a govt. College they are at par with the infrastructure. Could be better for sure and also be more professional. In the years to come it will get better. Sports is represented a little less considering the talent we possess.

Seniors are Extremely helpful. May it be in sports, studies, or anything we need. always there. Alumni is also very helpful as they provide funds as and when asked or necessary. Also, sponsorships to various events which is very useful.

First be eligible for entrance by scoring atleast 50 percent in 12th then give, Entrance Exam - MHT CET (Now NEET), Score good marks and rank MERIT LIST, Then go for CENTRALISED ADMISSION PROCESS Fill in the college codes and according to our rank in merit list we get allotted college of the colleges we have entered if we are not getting any college from the list of colleges we have entered then we can wait till 3rd list or else we end up not getting a college, depends on our rank and marks

Faculty is great and always helpful. They teach us whatever and whenever we require and help us in all possible ways. Also may it be college clerks or hospital staff, all are cooperative and kind. Proud.
