The main positive remark about the college is there is no ragging here, it is strictly prohibited and many punishments are given for it. The faculty will also be nice to you and won't force you for anything. Not any serious negative remarks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is being set by the vishweshwarayya technological university till our college is affiliated to vtu. The exam structure here is 3 internal assessment per sem and best of two will be taken that makes 50% of cumulative and other 50% for sem end exam.
Placement Experience
The placements for branches like EEE,E&C , CS AND IS are almost done and many of them get placed in 3rd year itself. civil n mechanical placements are around 50% . We get the internship here, most of them are with stipend.
College Events
In nie every year techNIEks is celebrated very grandly in which seminar from great people, cultural activities are done very well and everyone enjoys very much. Besides this every branch has a separate event too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here is based on how u get admitted here. If we get in through kcet and get a merit seat, the fee is 19k, through comedk the fee is 175k, through management the fee is around 10 lac.3 lac for out of Karnataka people.feasible if admitted through kcet.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship facilities in our college but no loan facility. Scholarship are based on merit in the college, marks obtained in the tests and examinations. Scholarship is also for rank holders n continuity of it.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities likes clubs, sports and social activities. The clubs are good for placements, startup and for good skills. Sports person can have great time here. Social groups also do some great works here.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of this college are very thankful to the college like Narayan Murthy, they always try to help college in growing up. many jobs and internships are offered by the alumni only. Seniors are also very helpful here.
Admission
Through kcet. Follow the kcet online portal for admission. One must write the kcet entrance exam or can get into by management seat or by other quota like out of Karnataka quota. this is a very good college in Karnataka. Placements are good here.
Faculty
The faculty in civil department is a senior and well experienced faculty. Very well understanding teachers. Teaching is nice. Mechanical department has a very chill faculty. Faculty of all other branches are also good.
