Remarks

Yes regarding scholarship. We dont know about some scholarships provided by the university. These will be a negative of our college. Positive is our college is a small college and we can enjoy a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

Economics is my main streem. 3 year course with 36 papers. First year contains 2 language paper 2 selective subjects and 2 economics papaers. Second year also same and final year contains only 6 economics paper.

Placement Experience

Regarding Placement there is no option for campus placement on that time. But now some companies done. No internship provided. No stipend provided for general categorie student. For reserved catogories stipend provided by govt

College Events

So many events. Like arts day college day magazine inauguration etc. Union inauguration day celebrities will come to college and doing inagurations. This function will be atttend by all the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No expencive to study this college because for merit students yearly 800 rs only and PARENT teachers association fee around 1000 to 3000 as per their financial capacity. So i feel its very cost less instituition and its an aided college

For science batch college providing lab facility and computer lab facility available for all students and sports meet wil conducting yearly. University boxing champion is in our vollege in 2013 and 2012. Gym also availble in this college

Applied for BA economics course directly. Filled application form and sent to college. They called for interview as per merit list and i passed the interview and joined. Interview done by Head of the deparment and other faculties

Faculty is the strength of the course. Amazing teaching skills. And 90% of the my batch successfully completed the course. H.O.D lead our faculty team and one male faculty and one female faculty coordinated the course

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
