The Honest Review of IIIT Manipur

The remark would be the college is newly established so it will take time to create a good alumini network and to give a good exposure but we are progressing day to day. And the college as well as the students are very well connected.

The course is excellent for both the branches ie CSE and ECE the course is designed by IIT GUWAHATI and as per the latest trends and advancements in the field of technology. The exam structure is very well we have one MID SEMESTER EXAMS and one END SEMESTER EXAM and apart from that there’s quiz , projects , assignments etc . We also have lab exams and number of workshops hand to hand.

The first batch that passed out in 2018 got 10LPA max (on campus and 12LPA off campus ) and the average placement package was of around 5.2LPA And one of the senior this year has got a placement of 42LPA. So the placement scenario is improving every year. Yes the college provide letter of recommendation and also some references for the internships in India as well as for abroad. If you are doing internship in some company college reimbusrses the expenses on providing the bills of your expenditure.

Its moderate in comparison with the private colleges our annual fee is around 2.5LPA from our batch previously it was around 1.5LPA. The students are here because of their hard work and clearing JEE so not all of them are from a strong background so for many the fee is expensive but the college is under the tag of “INSTITUTES OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE “ so getting loan from any bank is quiet easy.

Currently no scholarship or loan is provided by the college but students get various no of scholarships from their respective state government and also from the central government. And loan is easily available from any bank across India.

Labs are very good with all the facilities like HIGH COMPUTING LAB ROBOTICS LAB , ELECTRONICS LAB COMPUTER LABS and all the labs are very well equipped and are functional and you can go there anytime you want. Sports is another good thing about this college we participate in SPIRIT IITG ,INTER IIIT sports meets and have won many medals in that too The sports culture is good even If you don’t know or haven’t played before you can surely learn here. But we lack is sports coaching. And there are many extra curricular activities but only certificate is provided no cash or gift is given by the college.

The hostel fees is Rs 1000 per semester and the facilities are good we have Wi-Fi all over the campus and hostel the hostels have good lighting we have been given Godrej furniture the only drawback is there are 3 students per room. Electricity is free and with 24/7 power backup.

Only one batch is out but we are in good contact with them but the senior students are very good we share a good bond with them and they help us most of the times. With studies ,with tech , with experience etc etc

First of all we have to clear JEE Mains in order to apply for the admission through JOSAA. Then when I got the seat in CSE then I had to visit the campus and get my all documents verified by the faculty incharge and after successful payment of fee, I was given a seat in this college.

The faculty is nice most of them holds a PhD in their respective fields from IIT GUWAHATI. The faculty is very sincere towards the academic as well as the extra curricular and technical activities. On time to time MHRD conducts feedback for the faculties and for all the other things.
