Course Curriculum Overview
Core management subject in second year HR related subjects summer internship for 3 months capstone project (research based) for 4-5 months percentile system includes CGPA workshops are arranged.
Internships Opportunities
The stipend offered to me was rupees 5000 per month. However both the internship was off-campus. Now things have improved and placements are better. The maximum packages in reality is 10-11 lac. Especially the individuals with earlier work experience get better salary packages.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario for GLC courses are average. However the placement for other PGDM courses especially Finance, marketing and retail management. The performance of placement for HR courses are average.
College Events
There are several events organized. The cultural events are really nice. Students are also encouraged to participate in social works, Philanthropist activities and fund raising.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I would say the college fees is little high, if we compare it with placement scenario. Hostel fees is little high but hostel facilities are really cool.
Fees and Financial Aid
Most of the bank gives educational loan. The scholarship for toppers are also available. Toppers also get a chance to go for exchange studies within campus.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. The mentoring from faculty is limited, but some of the lecturers are cool and friendly. However i feel there is a gap between theoretical knowledge and practical insights. Moreover the subject like statistics, research methodology should be given more importance and proper guidance to write research paper is lacking.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is comfortable, safe and it is twin sharing. The food is also good and hygienic. the hostel seats are sufficient. However lot of PG's with reasonable prices are available.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are really interactive and helpful. They guide us to settle down. However the alumni networking is not so helpful in placements and probably there is a scope to leverage future opportunitues.
Exam Structure
The exams and labs were not so hectic and some more practical labs and workshops would have been better. The internal assignments and projects are real fun and knowledge intensive.
