One of the best college to study in Gujarat

As compared to other colleges in the city, there are no such negative remarks other then just one that many of the folks find out is that the faculties are strictly leaned towards their respective subject. Like if a student is not performing well or anything like that then they won’t hesitate to tell their guardians;)

The course is set by GTU (Gujarat Technological University) and almost majority of colleges in Gujarat follows GTU for Technical and Engineering field. I found the course structure is relevant to the practical field but still needs some improvements which again is not in hands of V.V.P.

Placements and job opportunities depends on us, but the college tries their best to get job for each & every student. Basically there was no any compulsion to do an internship to get the degree but if one wants to then the college truly supports it.

Not a single event or festival is left out by the college. Be it any technical event or any festivals, all are celebrated very joyfully. Also as Diwali is considered as the biggest in India, the college gives each & every student a complementary gift as a Diwali gift every year without taking a single penny from students.

Fees structure is feasible as compared to many other colleges in the state. When I studied at V.V.P. it was around 80k annual fees. It might have fluctuate now but still it is worthy to pay. Folks who doesn’t want to shift to any other city and would prefer only Rajkot then I guess it is the best college in the city to study engineering.

There’s no any scholarship or loan facility offered by college, but from government side there are some good offers. Didn’t know much about the loan, but there’s a scholarship offered by the Government of Gujarat under the name of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY). Under this scholarship program, one can get 50% scholarship for tuition fees and other expenses such as books.

Every year the college organises a sport event for extracurricular activities apart from daily some kind of activities. Also the lab facility is decent. The campus is good enough if not the best. The college also supports students who are good at some sport or any other activities.

Ya, the alumni network is real strong and it helps a lot for one to take the next step towards their dream or career. Take for an example, many students after completing their bachelor’s or master’s wants to study further inside or outside of the country, so for that there are already many of the alumni studying outside as well as inside in India.

To get admission in V.V.P. Engineering College is simple but not so easy because of real tuff competition. Folks need a real good score of JEE or Diploma grades (for D2D students). I was one from the D2D student, I completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a decent score and then applied at V.V.P. and with some luck and hard work got admitted in it.

Faculties are the gems of the college. V.V.P. is known for its faculties. From HOD to Assistant Professors each and every faculties are having indeed deep knowledge in their respective field. I would definitely suggest students to have a visit at V.V.P.
