Remarks
Overall to tell about college, is the faculties are good but there is need of more experienced and permanent faculty members. Students should be given with more good canteen and hostel facility. Hostel facility is much more to be improvised for girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very good and effective. Exam runs for every 6 months for 2 years. After every semester we will be having semester holidays for about 10-20 days. Then college re-opens and our results are announced.
Placement Experience
Placements are called every year. Our college doesn’t provide internship but we are given opportunity to go fpr internship in other institutes or laboratories. Stipend depends on the institute we do internship.
College Events
Every year we celebrate Independence Day, Kannada Rajyotsava, and other national festivals. We also celebrate freshers party, farewell party with our staff also. We also have special lecture programs arranged once in a month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is also very feasible. As it is a government instituition they do not cost much fees. Fees will be quite less. We also need to pay examination fees every semester. It will be around 200-3000 depending on the course and category of the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships offered. As it is a government instituition, the fees we pay is refunded in the form of scholarship. Leaving that we also get vidyasiri, single daughter scholarships, scholarships for Lingayats and etc.
Campus Life
There are several extra curricular activities in our department. We have labs daily for about 4-5 hours where we perform different experiments. There is also good platform for sports and yoga. Every year we celebrate sports day where all the members of the department are involved.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network of our department is very good. We have very famous personalities who have studied in our department and working in big research institutes like IISC. Also they are working in Germany, USA, Taiwan and other countries.
Admission
I wrote an entrance exam in life science paper. The paper included 10 different subjects. I Got selected in merit list in 3B category. Then admission date was announced and got admitted in the college on given date.
Faculty
All the faculties are very very supportive. They teach us in a very effective manner. We also have practical classes where we are exposed to various experiments which are done routine in all hospitals and diagnostic centres.
