Manipal University is located near udupi, you'll only find students here, Manipal offers so much freedom that some use it for good and some for bad. It all depends on how you want to spend 4 years of you life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The first year everyone shares the same course plan. Each semester, we have 2 sessionals which are 15marks each, 4 assignments 5 marks each, and the end semester which is 50 marks. This total comes out to be 100
Placement Experience
The placements are good, it depends on the branch as well, computer science and information technology have the best placements here, followed by ece and cce. Yes the college provides internships,If you can't find it yourself
College Events
There are 2 major events celebrated in a year in the odd sem we have tech tatva (tech event as the name suggests) in the even sem we have revels( cultural fest). These are big events, everyone is free to participate in this and be a part of it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees they increase every year you'll have to check on their website for the latest updates. Also, the fees here are a bit on the expensive side, but rest assured that every penny you spend is worth it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Manipal offers scholarships based on your performance in MUOET. I think if you get an all India rank under one thousand they offer some scholarships, also about the loan part many people take a loan to study here.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are plenty here, you'll have so many things to do apart from regular academics we have so many technical clubs here that you can join, Manipal invests heavily on these clubs. For sports, we have a huge indoor sports complex called marena which is believed to be the best sports complex in India
Hostel Facilities
Yes, i opted for a hostel, for boys we would recommend either 16 th or 17th block. If you want an ac room (limited) you'll have to apply at the earliest. There are twin sharing rooms and also single rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
The best thing about Manipal is that there's absolutely no ragging here the seniors are Infact to helpful here, We all have heard of satya nadela and Rajeev suri They both were once a part of Manipal family.
Admission
There's an exam called MUOET which Manipal conducts every year, it's an online test that you'll have to go to the closest center to you to give. the result comes instantly the moment you are finished with the test.
Faculty
The faculty here is simply amazing, you'll yourself feel that they actaully want you to perform well and they are always ready to help, you can go to their cabin to clarify any doubt that you couldn't solve in the class during the regular lectures.
