Remarks

There is many Positive remarks:- 1. The college os fully greeny and peaceful. 2. The teaching quality is good. 3. Infrastructure is nice But there is also a negative remark college campus is far from Coimbatore main city.

Course Curriculum Overview

Karunya University is one of the best university. The environment is very nice, campus is fulll green. The course curriculum is easy and well managed. There is CBSE ( Choice based) system means you can chose your subject and teacher in each and every semester.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. They provide Internship. The stipend is depend on your work. I went on IAESTE Internship they send me one of west African country name Ghana. I work in a Metal Industry for 3 months. The overall experience is good.

College Events

There are lots of events which we celebrate in our college like PITSTOP it is a mechanical department feast. There is anual function alsonwhich we celebrate 3 days. There is one sport tournament also which name is Karunya Evengline tournament (KEMT) in this event almost every south Indian college and University participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The University campus is fully residential so the fee structure is 400000/-annum it includes hostel, mess and college fee. After paying 400000 you do not need to pay anything. But you have to buy mattresses and some stuff.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is lots of scholarship provided by college. Some scholarship is provided by merit list. Some scholarship is provided by bank or some is provided to needy students also. Some scholarship is provided by Government also.

Campus Life

There is lots of extracurricular activities. There are lots of club like red cross, rotary club, Nature club, waste management club, music band,. There are many labs als There are 3 football , and 2 hockey.ground.

Hostel Facilities

The campus is fully residential so you do not have any options. You have to live in hostel. Girls and Boys Boys hostel are separated. The hostel is alloted by your year and Branch. Each hostel have their mess hall. Food is good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

There is a big alumni network. The senior is bery nice and good in behavior. The campus is fully raging free. The senior is very helpful. You can take help of your senior in your project or any thing.

Admission

I got the admission in Lateral Entry Quota. Every year there is exam for fresher and lateral entry both. I did my Diploma then I wrote lateral entry Entrance exam after qualifying the exam i got admission.

Faculty

The faculty of Karunya University is very nice. Any time They are ready for your help. They teach well.They can help you in your aca6as well as your personal problems. They are very supportive. If you are doing any project you can go and ask there help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Karunya University - Review (From a current Student)

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

The proximity of the college to my state and the ease of travel was way simplified for me. College is very safe and secure especially for girls.
