My experience

I would say that if you find better college than this one go for it. This is not the worst college but still you should not miss the chance if you can avail the benefit of studying in a better college. Even if the better college is far from your home I will say go for it.

I think the course curriculum is very diverse as it focuses on all round development of a student. We have classesbon english communication, robotics, etc. But the teaching staff is horrible. You have to learn everything by yourself. You will definitely feel too overwhelmed by the amount of work you are required to do. We have two exams period in one semester: mid-sem. exams and end-term exams.

Placements are good. Average package for a year is around 9 lac rupees. Yes the college does provide internship but it is extremely difficult to get one for an average student. I asked my seniors regarding this and they had opinions that are mentioned above.

1. Cultural Fest 2. Technical Fest 3. Intra-IIIT sports competition Cultural fest is where our college's music, dance and dramatics club combine to celebrate. Techincal fest is still a new fad here. Nothing can be said about it as it is not experienced much. Intra-IIIT is where almost every student of the college takes part in one or the other sports event.

The fee structure of our college is mentioned on the website of our college. Annual fees in our college is around 3 lac which is subjected to increase after each year. With respect to the facilities that are given here I and all of my friends studying here feels that the fees is very high and it should be more affordable to us.

Our college doesn't offer any scholarship. Only scholarships that a student can avail is the one that is provided by state government or central government. I don't avail any scholarships but I did take education loan from Canara bank education loan. It is fairly easy to apply for this loan just go to their bank once and you will get to know about it.

Extracurricular activities in my college are just average. There is nothing too great about them and nothing to consider it the worst. Labs are well equipped with all the necessary instruments. Sports facilites are provided.

Seniors here are helpful but just like anywhere else don't expect them to come knocking on your door to ask for any difficulty. If you have a problem go up to them and seek their help. Alumni network is not too big since it is a new college.

First of all I had to give JEE Main and then a rank list was created by NTA. According to the rank list I was alloted IIIT Kota during the JoSAA counseling procedure. I searched around the internet to get to know about this institute as I was a little skeptical since the college is new. But finally I made the decision to choose it.

Faculty is horrible. This is the one field where I think this college lacks far far behind any other government or even private colleges. Some of them does't even try to teach but rather they just come around and sit and then go. It's very frustrating really knowing that we paid 3 lac rupees per year for these kind of teachers.
