College review

Discipline is good. I never experienced Ragging in the college. Seniors are helpful. My hod sir was too helpful. Technical groups help increasing the skills. Non technical groups arrange many events for the betterment of the students.

It was good but little hectic because after one month of the beginning of every semester we might have some test anyday. In one semester we had 4 quizzes, 2 internal exams and one external exam per subject. One good this was if you have cgpa greater than 8.5 you can opt for 8th semester subject in 5th, 6th and 7th sem so those can freely focus on their major project.

It completely depends on branch for cs/is/ece it's good enough for an average student to get placed in a good company. But for other branches hard work and luck is required to get a good company. For mechanical very less companies visited the college for a core job. And for few branches it was even lesser. College provide internship for few branches not all. I did my major project cum internship in an industry it was helpful but didn't get stipend.

Halcyon - college fest. Banch fests of every branch (mechanical it's momentum, a national level symposium Cs/is browse Circuit branches TECHNISIUM Chemical and biotech biochess Iem iemage). Spandana. Sports day.

For Karnataka residents a seperate entrance test is organized students have to pay lesser fees than those qualified through comedk Scholarships are available for Karnataka residents. So feasible for students through different test for Karnataka residents. And expensive for students through comedk.

Scholarships are available for Karnataka residents who are not rich.and banks provide loan to pay the every year's fees. We just need to get some documents from college many students in college take loan to study and they lay after they get job.

One sports department is there in the college which takes care of all the sports activities and deserving students also get awarded for their talents. Many students' groups are there in the college to increase increase students managing skills and few technical groups are there too which takes part in national level events.

It's clean and provide fresh food but not tasty. I rate 3 out of 5. Boys' hostels are in the college campus but girls' hostels are outside for 1st and 2nd year it's 3kms far, a bus bus bus provided but it has a fixed schedule and for 3rd and 4th it's 800m.

Alumni Association is there in college and of course it's helpful students get sponsorship for their projects and meeting is also arranged for alumni once in year on 2nd October. Seniors help juniors in every possible way.

I wrote comedk entrance exam. Participated in counciling process. I had to choose three colleges and branch preferred in that college in the list and when my turn came according to the rank in comedk the seat for mechanical in this college was empty and this was my first preference too. Then after few days i went to the college with documents required and got admitted in the college.

They are good. Most of them follow conservative ways of teaching. Practicals are less. They focus more on theories than co-curricular activities. But many are supporting too if you are good enough. Teachers help student in taking part in national level activities.
