Remarks
I very much recommend all the Engineering aspirants to join iit. I am sure that joining iit will definitely bring a turning point in your life although it is a bit tough to reach here ,it is very cool afterwards.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very nice, 3 exams in a semester quiz1,quiz2,endsem. For some subjects only midsem and endsem is there for labs only endsem is there, 85 percent attendance is mandatory to write the exam. Very good syllabus is being taught.
Placement Experience
I haven't received internship or stipend because I am still a first year student. There are good chances for internship even outside the country. The stipend provided is more than enough to enjoy the life here.
College Events
Many events are conducted like saarang, shaastra. Festivals all over India are celebrated here. Also college gives high preference to physical fitness by making opportunity to play many games and tournaments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
From a common man's perspective fees is a bit expensive.but sbi is providing intrest less loan to students of IITMADRAS. This is a very good feature as common people like me can study without having much tension of fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Education loan is offered by sbi, it provides the while amount required for paying fees, repayment is to be done only after graduation as students passing out from iitmadras have a high chance of getting job,repayment is easy.
Campus Life
Labs are well maintained and excellent, separate labs are there for undergraduates and postgraduates, coaching is given for each and every sport to discover the talent inside students, equipments for every sport is easily available for students
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure and facilities are excellent. It is well maintained and clean. Also all sorts of sports and games are made available in each and every hostel, hostels are located inside the campus itself.
Alumni/Alumna
It is the strong support from alumni that funds this great infrastructure and facilities over here as pass out students get good job and placement they are ready to give much to the campus that made them what they are.
Admission
Writing JEE Advanced exam and passing it.Admission is based on marks obtained. Reservation is there for SC ST OBC. Branch is alloted according to our rank and priority. JOSAA is the agency that manages the admission procedure.
Faculty
All the faculty are real experts in their subjects. Any doubt asked to them will be cleared at the moment itself, also teaching assistants(PhD students) have been appointed for each subject to clear the doubts in absence of teacher.
