Remarks
Positive things are that the college is equipped with latest technology and state of art infrastructure. The faculty is also quite good and professionals in their areas of teaching. Extra curricular activities are also given equal importance as academics. Negative things can be the placements and job offers which may not always be satisfactory. I am not saying that good placement opportunitied don't come, but they are very rare.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is quite flexible and dynamic. There are 6 semesters in a span of 3 years. Every semester contains vital subjects essential for management studies. The exam structure is that in one year there are 2 semesters along with 2 mid term assessments before the final exam. After the end of the final exam there is a compulsory project that every student must do which also contains 100 marks.
Placement Experience
To be honest don't expect extremely good placements after BBA. Placements do happen but the work profile is not that good. Average salary that can be expected after BBA is around 10-12k per month, but the work profile is not satisfactory. Yes the college does provide internships and in good places. I completed my 2 months internship in sales from Timesjobs. The experience was good overall and i got a fair bit of industrial exposure. There was no stipend though for me but some interns of my batch did get stipends from other companies.
College Events
There are many events celebrated round the year. The cultural fest of Techno India University is called 'Sahotsava'. It is a grand ceremony and celebrities are also invited to perform. There is also a inter college sports tournament called 'Rudra', where other colleges are invited to compete. Then there is the inter college technical fest called the 'Vivarta'. Besides from these there are fests of individual departments too. For example the fest of the management department is called Magnefecia.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I would say for a private university the fee structure is not that expensive. The semester fees during my time was 55k and an additional 2k for exam purposes. I would say that compared to other private colleges in India the fee structure is quite feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per my knowledge no such scholarships are provided for the students. However if you want there is an option of educational loan facility which the college provides. There is a branch of Punjab National Bank in the college premises which looks after these matters.
Campus Life
Yes the college has excellent lab facilities for every department and every subject. There is one floor dedicated entirely to the computer department and contain many computers. This is also where the mid term exams take place which are conducted online.
Hostel Facilities
No there are no hostel facilities although there are many persons on a contract basis with the college accommodate the students in their Pg's. I had opted for one such pg during my tenure and the facilities were quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni of the college and the seniors are easily approachable. They are always Eveready to help their juniors in whatever problem it may be. Whether academics or extra curricular activities.
Admission
My admission in Techno India University for the BBA(H) Course was on the basis of merit, that is on basis of the marks received in 10th and 12th. I had 84% in 10th and 60% in 12th and I fitted their criteria of having 55% in both 10 and 12 so i didn't have to go for an interview. Direct admission on merit basis.
Faculty
I can't say about the other departments but the faculty of the management department is quite dynamic and well versed with the subjects. The professors are alumnus of reputed instituitions and are quite up to date with the latest knowledge and heppenings of the management world. The professors are also easily approachable and quite friendly with the students.
