Infrastructure and placements are very good.Rest is up to us how we can avail them into positive outcomes.Colkege always support students.Just one thing college needs to update is their new digital technologies curriculum.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good curriculum but need to be updated as per industry need.Computer science curriculum should be updated as new digital technologies are introduced in market.More practical lab should be promoted.Should encourage for industrial training during pre final year.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good here.Infact it is one of the best thing about Psit.This year in 2019 more than 700 student places in top Indian companies in day 1 placement.College always encourage students to push their limit and do something extra ordinary.
College Events
In psit mainly 2 events happens every year.First is waves which is a one day event for the fresher students.Seccmond one is IGNITIA which is 3 day cultural and technical fest organized by college.IGNITIA is one of the famous fest in kanpur.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is little expensive here.For the engineering program for computer science student you have to pay almost 150k.Hostelsare available for both boys and girls AC/NON AC. Hostel fees is approx 80k -100k .But the facilities here are good.
Fees and Financial Aid
UPTU every year gives scholarship for the students . Students get almost 70% scholarship fees.They have to apply and their parents should not in govt job.Also their is fee waiver entry for poor students for those students they have to get good rank in entrance and their parents monthly income should be low.
Campus Life
Labs are good here also.IBM study of excellence computer lab is their.Systems have all the required softwares.For sports we have so many grounds and courts.Almost all the sports are their.Every year on 5 September annual sports day happen in college where students and department participate.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful.Time to time alumini visit college and encourage students to study well.They share their experience and market technologies.For alumini we have our own portal.Also placement cell in college is regular touch with alumini.
Admission
Students have to Clear UPTU Exam which is conducted by state every year.They should have more than 60% in their high school and intermediate exams.Students can also get admission though management quota.
Faculty
Faculties are Very supportive here.They are expertise in their area.But instead of only book knowledge they should also encourage students for practical knowledge.They should encourage students to aware of new technologies.
