Great educational facility

There are no bad remarks. It's a pretty good college and also ranks in Karnataka.

Course curriculum is pretty upto the students requirements itself. Exam structure is fine sometimes,as sometimes internals are either too soon or too late and we have to cope up with that. But overall students can manage and the faculty helps us in all the structures as much as possible.

Sometimes placements are being rushed to some dates and it's difficult for students to cope with. There are very fewer core companies for ECE coming in the college and almost all are IT based. The placement coordinators help whenever we ask them and also assist us in the exams and aptitude tests.

There is first a technical fest Vertechx conducted every semester. It basically includes all the robotics games,technical-based debates, etc. It is conducted as a two days fest. There is a cultural fest Swayam which is also a 2 days event. There will be all kind of cultural activities for dance, music, literature, painting, drawing, acting, etc. There might be a concert sometimes.

The college fees were approx 40,000. CET was less due to SNQ quota and it was around 3,000. So overall the college fees came around 43,000. Other expenses for textbooks and the notebooks and other accessories cost around 5000. Overall fees and everything for a year cost 48,000-49,000 for me.

I've not opted for both. As I had got SNQ quota in CET, I was not eligible for any scholarships in any year.

Campus Life is peaceful, but the trees are dry sometimes and it's not maintained properly. The gender ratio isn't an issue. Diversity is varied, there are so many different people coming from different areas and studying in this college. Labs and sports grounds are well maintained. Competitions are often conducted every semester.

We arent touch with the alumni,but they often come to programmes organised and some alumni are even guests. Senior students help us in projects and studies.

I got admission through CET in 2016. I had given preference to MVJ on the first list,and i got the same college in the first round of CET for SNQ quota. It was easier for me to get through the college procedures as i had studied my pu in MVJ Pre University itself.

Faculty are easy to talk to. They try their best to make us understand the topics ,and also try providing a real time explanation of topics. They try helping us in other extra curricular activities like competitions within the department,technical fests.
