Remarks
The college campus is really nice.We have 24/7 security guards along with night patrol for safety.The colllege is placed in a village kind of area.So its not that crowded.The only negative remark is that the roads are not that good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is for a term of 4 years.An year is divided into 2 sems and each sem consist of 2 sessional exams and 1 university exam.The total of 2 semesters would be considered in for annual gpa.An estimate of 7 gpa is required to continue to next year.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good actually.Since Manipal College Of Health Professionals is a branch of Manipal University,there would be a name for students who search for job oppurtunities.Our college do provide internship.For our course its about 1 year .It depends on your course.
College Events
Almost all festivals are celebrated here.An event called Pulse is conducted around october.It consist of a competition of all extracaricular activities.Also we have our annual event which lasts for 5 days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its a bit expensive since it is a private university.I had to pay 160000 for the first year.By coming to the second year,it reduced by 10000.I heard that each year they increase the course fees by a significant amount.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have heard that people who speak Tulu(regional language) is given a scholarship.Also i got to know that localites(those who live in karnataka)with good marks were given scholarships.Since i am not a localite I am not much aware of it.
Campus Life
We do have all labs here.Also since it rains here most of the year,we have an indoor complex called Marena.Literally all kinds of sports are available here.You do get a swimming pool ,gymnasium and other kind of sports room in here.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for a hostel in first year.It was 66000 rupees.The hostel which i stayed was Nehru A.By coming to the second year you will be having Tagore Hostel which would be around 35000 rupees.Hostels are given according to the course.
Alumni/Alumna
I dont have much connection with alumni.But I do maintain a good relationship with my seniors.They do help us in every way possible.Even if its hospital postings,they would be there to solve our doubts and help us in the most way possible.
Admission
It was an online application form.I applied for it and i was invited to a conference depending on my 12th marks.Then i was allowed to select my course.Students are given a rank based on our 12th marks.Students with more marks get to choose their course much earlier.
Faculty
Faculties are nice.They are supportive and caring.We can reach them anytime for support.For each sem students will be having their own respective coordinators.They can be reached in case of any doubts or other needs.
