A 4 year journey

I have already mentioned positive as well as negative remarks. But one thing is for sure, you will definitely enjoy this journey and your farewell will be a tough day for you. Note:- Institute is making an exponential growth and negative points mentioned will soon become its postives.

The course is nicely designed for overall development. But assignments are irritating. Talking about Exam structure, we have mini, mid and end term exams with weightage of 10, 20 and 60 respectively. And yes, assignment comprises of 10 marks.

This is one of the best thing of college specially as a Computer Science student. There are so many opportunities for internship as soon as you reach in your 5th semester. Most of the students(everyone in CSE) get placed in 7th semester with a decent package. Average package of CSE student is 10 lpa.

There are so many events celebrated across the year. I will discuss about three main fests. As soon as you join college, you are welcomed by India's biggest Hindi cultural fest Tooryanaad with so many competitions, guest lectures and much more. When you are about to end your odd semester, prepare yourself for Technosearch if you are a technical geek. One of the main focus is pronite. Now comes Maffick, a cultural fest to make your even semesters enjoyable.

Fee structure is quite feasible with different slabs for different family income. If your family income is above 6 lakhs, you have to pay 1.8 lakhs (approximate figure) for a year which includes hostel and mess charges as well.

I know about a scholarship naming MMVY but that is not offered by college. Instead it is provided by MP govt. for students of Madhya Pradesh only. As mentioned, there is different fees for different income slabs and there is no tuition fee if your annual family income is less then 1 lpa or you belong to SC or ST category.

We have a sports complex in our campus with so many facilities. Even in the hostels, we can play volleyball, table tennis . However labs are highly degraded and not upto the expectations. But CS labs are decent ones.

I have mixed ratings for Hostel infrastructure. Some of the hostels like recently developed ones are quite good whilw some are horrible. But you will enjoy in every hostel because of the facilities provided. You will get LAN, filtered water etc. etc.

They all are extremely helpful whether it be in academics or social life. They are your mentor here. If you need any help, you just need to contact your senior. A good interaction between juniors and seniors is one of the best thing here.

1. Sit in JEE Mains 2. Score a decent score and that's it, you are here. Admission Process :- It takes only few hours from paying fees to submitting documents. You need not have to wait in a long queue.

Faculty here is highly educated. They hold Phd in their respective fields from well reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. But they lack in fetching attention of the students and most of us are sleeping.
