Course Curriculum Overview
The model involves both internal assessment as well as written exam. The internal assignment will include projects, practical, assignments etc. Normally 30% is allocated to this section. The rest will be for the written exam. The exam pattern varies. The latest pattern used by many institutes has objective type questions, short answers and long answers. Also before the main exam there will be mock exam to give the students a chance to know their knowledge level.
Placement Experience
The core focus of job placement programmes is to help students find employment in their field of academic study. Typically led by a faculty member, these programmes provide guidance, career counseling and a range of professional development activities, such as building interview skills, writing a curriculum vitae, arranging pre-placement talks, hosting group discussions and more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
complete course ranges between Rs 8-10 lakh for general category students. In the past six years, the fees for General category students, planning to study B.Tech, has increased three-fold from Rs 50,000 annually to Rs 3 lakh annually. However, the fees for other course have remained almost unchanged. Below is the semester-wise segregation of tuition fee of each B.Tech course.
Admission
For admission in four years of engineering courses, candidates have to appear in the state level or in national level entrance exam. Some universities conducted their own entrance exam such as Symbiosis International University (SET) for providing admission.Without appearing in any of the said entrance exams, candidates will not be considered for the admission procedure.
