Remarks

Tough the college comes in top 10 rankings and a stuff but the timings are very hectic one has to wake up early in the morning and be attentive in class as they take drowsiness as indisiplene and more over attendence criteria must be a bit linient

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course is good for undergraduation and the curriculum is fantastic exams are basically of two types one is the cia or the internals of every subject and the other is the semester exam.Cia carries few marks which adds up with semester exams pass marks are around 40 but a minimum of 75 percent of attendence in each subject is compulsory and Xavier's is very strict about this norm

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college is the most prestigious college of the region so placements are usually fine if you are good with soft skills and have a good academic record while internship offering companies are also interested in acquiring resources from our college stipend have gone as high as 10k for first years

College Events

4.5

Xavotsav-the talk of the town in January every year indeed one of the best event Goonj-event that promotes singing dancing kind of stuff many colleges pan India come to participate There are various events through out the year which gives great exposure to the students We had a blood donation camp which gave a felling of social service to all the students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for morning shift is around 3500 and evening shift is a bit expensive but you have to pay for three months in one go and at the time of addmission 25500 will be charged as fees for first three months along with first semester exam fee so around 35 to 40k per year for bcom morning is charged the fees can hike upto 10 percent every year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a loan facility for economically backward student I have not availed any such facility they cover around 50 percent of the fee which will make the course very very cheap and worth doing as it is a tier one college

Campus Life

4

We have societies for every such activity which you could imagine we have sports day and every sport is appriciated in our college we have a particular team for most of the sport and a good space as playground which student can use anytime

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are super helpful no ragging in our college seniors are more like brother when it comes to Xavier's and the vice principal and dean of commerce dept are always available in case of any tantrum

Admission

The addmission process is simple You have to fill an addmission form from the college website and then the merit lists are announced after few weeks and if you clear the cut off your form number appears on the merit list with a date and time for your addmission process just reach on time with the prescribed document and follow the instructions and you are good to go.

Faculty

5

We have great and interactieve faculty we have got graduates from Delhi school of economics and lots of professionals like CMAs CSs and also our EVS teacher has taught in foreign universities and none of the teacher will ever intend to hurt u or so we have more of a guru shishya relationship even in this stage of kalyuga

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
