i search lots of different colleges and have not come across decent staff one so far other than JKLU

The projects given to us require us to work in teams. Teams can vary from 2-10 member. This exercise helps understand the importance of working together with the people who come different backgrounds and cultures. It a very good learning which be helping us when we work in the professional life with the team-mates coming from different areas with their own biases. The curriculum is very advanced as JKLU has MOU with the various top foreign universities of the world such as -University of Florida, Olin College of Engineering, UMass etc. This gives us a lot of exposure of how the hands-on education is like and interact with the faculty from abroad at several occasions.

There are more than 120 participating organization in the recruitment process of our university. The highest salary that has been offered is 15 lakhs. This is equivalent to some of the top B schools that are there in our country. The average salary is 5 lakhs. So, this can give you a fair idea about the kind of salary that students of JKLU are offered by the industry leaders. At JKLU, we have encouraged to learn new skills with the help of centre for communication and critical thinking. This helps us to stay ahead of others in the marketplace and push forward the learning curve and help us land in good jobs. The placement cell of the university is easy to reach out and always available to us students and have one-on-one conversations. This lessens our tensions about the placements and gives us the motivation to keep trying and get a good job offer

we celebrate events like jklu Laureate Award in which the famous personalities of India are given this award for their outstanding performance towards Indian society and for its welfare. it is a very high-level programme which is participated by many big personalities.

I paid around 3 lakh od fee to JKLU for my course which included a certain amount of security deposit free. there are other extra charges for the hostel fee which I do not know about as I did not choose to live in the hostel. the fee charged by JKLU is very minimal as compared to other colleges.

The university is built in 30 acres and there is lot greenery around which makes everyone get out their hostels and go for a walk. There is a walking path track around the university where all the students and faculty who live on campus come for a run and walk. There is an excellent gym within the university where everyone exercises, it consists of different kinds of machines which very expensive. The gym is one of my favourite area where I generally hang out and spend most of the time in the evening and mornings.

The rooms in the hostel are very well ventilated and they have huge windows which allow lots of sunlight and fresh air to get in. Otherwise, I tell you there are many whose hostels literally stink of dampness and there is hardly any flow of air and ray of light to be seen inside the rooms. Jklu is very good in the aspect of designing a beautiful room. The room is equipped with a good quality mattress which is ideal for your back and pillow. We also get a study table and chair, and a spacious wardrobe to keep our clothes inside. What more does a student need from the hostel.

there is an entrance exam which everyone has to give and there is no skipping it. After the entrance exam, one has to give the first round of the interview if they get selected in the written. after the first round of interview, we have second round of interview with faculty.

We are personally being taught by the Vice-Chancellor of the university- DR. R.L. Raina. This is something which I really admire. I have not across any university where my friends’ study and the VC of their university is teaching them through regular classes. This gives us a lot of motivation to be as humble as him when we graduate. Apart from taking care of in the classes and help us understand the course, the faculty at JKLU is deeply concerned about the welfare of each student and make sure that they catch with them after the classes. The relationship between the faculty and the students outside the classes is a friendly one, though they a little strict while teaching.
