There is huge dance room in the university where everyone practices for the dance. I am part of the dance club at JKLU, so this the place where spend most of time. Just below the dance we also have a tuck shop from where we buy the refreshing drinks and eatable to keep energy levels intact. Along with the dance room we also have an activity room, this is room which completely allocated to making and designing of arts, conducting group activities, this is also the place where we store all our art supplies. When the time of cultural festivals and annual sports festival, this place is always buzzing with activities.

I love playing the board games which are housed in the common rooms. There are number of games such as carrom board, chess board, table tennis, etc. the common rooms are big enough, so we organize many activities here during the festivals or otherwise. They equipped with fancy furniture which consists of chairs, tables, satees, sofa and comfortable bean bangs to just lounge around. We also have huge LED tv in the common room with the dish tv connection. So, we are able to watch all the Hindi and English shows and motives. There are beautiful and colorful cushions here and there in the common rooms with which we play pillow fight at times.

if not for alumni network i would have been able to find a decent job for myself espicially when the job market is down.

I applied for admission online and paid the registration fee immediately. I came to JKLU to give a written entrance exam, followed by two rounds of interview. The admission process is swift and one does not have to wait for a long time to know whether they are selected or not.

Ashwini Sir in the department of management is one of the best profs that I like. He is very innovative with the methods of his teachings which makes us all the more excited about the next the classes that we would have with him. This is true in reference to most of the faculty at JKLU. The education here is vary technology driven where we learn by doing. The concepts that we learn in classrooms are left redundant but are used by us to solve the real-world problems. Sounds interesting? Yes, it is. This also makes us feel very empowering that we are capable of helping the society in our own small ways. The faculty motivates us to not give up when the algorithms do not seem to work, we do not get the management projects do to fetch us the desired output. The profs tend to stay with us on the campus till late in the night help us tackle the problem from a different perspective.
