Overall a good college with average labs, good staff and good placements. Just satisfied about this college.On behalf of all this, my college is a"Ragging free campus".
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are quite good and some are difficult to understand. Espicially the core subjects are well driven by the lecturers. For the first-year students, the course curriculum is the same for all the branches and differs from second year onwards, in which the core subjects are introduced. The conduct of exams are good and strictly followed by the management. Also, there is a research centre in our college for the well being of the students and the professors.
Placement Experience
The placement record for this college is good and better when compared to the other competitive colleges. Nearly 60 percent of students from branches ECE, CSE are placed every year and a few from the other departments.we can also have good scope for doing internships in good companies.
College Events
ASHV is the main fest, that is celebrated in our college. It is for two days.Many students from different colleges take active participation in the various events hosted by the college during the fest.Cash prizes are awarded for the top performances. Also there are several department wise fests are conducted,freshers day etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee is around 97 thousand for our batch and also an extra fee of three thousand for the NBA and a five thousand rupees for the building fee.The college hostel fee is around 75 thousand.According to my knowledge about hostels,private hostels are far better than the college hostel.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a non backward class group i can't be able to avail scholarships from the private institutions.But the government is giving 35,000 for the college fee
Campus Life
The gender ratio is good. The campus life is pleasant.We can feel the greenary present in the college. As MITS is known for the extracurricular activities, one can enjoy a lot.The labs are just average,the euipment is old and may differ from the theoretical calculations.We can enhance our communication skills by participating in many events.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is just for name sake in this college,we can't expect any helpful information from them.
Admission
The entrance into this college can be done in two ways. First, by the exam (EAMCET) conducted by the jntuk on behalf of the government. Secondly, by management quota, in which we have to pay for the seat in a respective branch. If we are allocated this college for our rank, we need to report at the college with certain details regarding Eamcet marks memo, aadhar copy, tenth marks memo etc,.
Faculty
The faculty is available anytime during working hours of the college i.e., from 9 am to 5 pm. Majority of the faculty are freindly in nature and we can express our ideas and can have chance to enhance our skills. Every thirty students are under a mentor, a person to look into the performance and issues of the students.
