Backstage Pass(didn't really understand what this means)

It is a good college which at the end of our course will equip us with the necessary tools required in the industry, we are provided with a lot of opportunities to showcase our work, the equipments are adequate, the infrastructure however is not that great.

The course is very well structured, in the beginning the very basics are taught, then we move on to complex things, later we're introduced to gaming engines, and other necessary softwares. The exam structure is conventional, 2 out of 3 internal exams are considered, and 1 external exam.

The college does provide us with internship opportunities in the 3rd year, the placements are fairly average, I am currently in second year so i don't know about the internship experience but to the best of my knowledge the stipend is around 10k-25k per month

1. Fresher's day - seniors throw a party for the 1st year students. 2. Teacher's day - students throw a party for the faculty. 3. Cricket tournaments - college participates in inter college tournaments. 4. Farewell - faculty throws a party for the seniors. 5. Annual GameJam - international event hel in the college annually.

The fee is paid twice a year, 1.4 Lakhs INR per annum, college provides scholarships based on the entrance exam, and considering the equipments provided to us by the college the fee seems feasible. The college also provides student loans.

The college provides with loan and scholarship facility. Maximum scholarship which is offered is of 10 percent of the total fee, loans cover all of the fee with a minimal interest rate. College provides with necessary documents.

Cricket tournaments - college provides the students with the equipments required for the game as well as books cricket grounds for students to practice in. Labs - we have saturday classes in which we're taught about the art aspect of game development, it is not in our syllabus but is taught to us as a part of industry training.

The senior students are very helpful, they help us out with our project, share their experiences, some of them have developed their games and won awards for them, they've told us about the thinking and the pipeline of how the work is done.

First, an entrance exam is held online which consists the topics from 11th and 12th standard. The exam is of 50 marks. After clearing the exam, the qualified students are called to the college for an interview, the interview is conducted by the college HR management, those who clear the interview get into the college.

The college faculty is very experienced, as most of them are industry professionals, we get to learn about what is necessary to learn and what would be useful, the teaching methods are practical. The faculty does a very good job in maintaing the balance between regular teaching and teaching industry wise.
