Remarks

i guess only postive comments will be there and no negative but still there are two negative points that is the fee is very high and as during the internship the patients are sometimes not so educated and the states mother tongue is tamil so have to learn tamil to interact with the patients in the upcoming years.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

best course for the better future and the exam is conducted by neet consisting of 3 subjects biology of 90 questions of 4 marks each and physics anf chemistry of 45 questions of 4 marks each. the minimum marks for qualifying for the exam is mostly 140 out of 720 but is different for different categories.

Placement Experience

5

job opportunities are very vast and you can get your own hospital or apply in any big hospital as a doctor and can earn upto 1 lakh. the college provides 6 months of internship in which they give us the expertise and help us how to treat a patient otherthan just bookish knowledge. overall experience was fabulous and the stipend in internship is near about 20k .

College Events

3.5

new year, pongal, diwali, holi, Christmas, freshers party and an annual function is celebrated along with this there are sometimes small events too with fun and help us grow and teach us along with giving us an opportunity to have a better social life and more and more interaction with many people.

Fee Structure And Facilities

expensive the fee structure of the college is 23.5lakh per year for a tenure of 4&1/2 year and increases every year for upcoming batches.the fee structure is even more for the NRI seat which is 5-7 lakh greater than the normal payable fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

no scholarship is givem from the college or any form of loan but the college shall give a fee receipt so that can help you to get a loan from any bank at very less interests and could help you financially otherwise you can pay full fee of the college for 4 and half year all in one time and can get a slight discount if insisted.

Campus Life

3.5

yeah the extracurricular activities are held in college like sports meet, conferences and lectures.the labs are good with all required facilities for you and Library is also very big with all the books on medical related subjects with almost all the writers and with every year updated edition of the book.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

if opted for the hostel the fee will be 75k for 1 year and infrastructure of the hostel is just average with ac .the ac hostels are unavailable and you are not allowed to keep your own ac in the hostel so if u seek comfort then stay outside in some other hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

the alumni network is also good. alumni meets are organized sometimes and the seniors are really helpful with no ragging and a friendly atmosphere. along with this every new batch comes so you will be senior and just like you senior you will be helping the new ones.

Admission

i applied for neet and then appeared for the exam usually held in may and then after result declaration counselling is done online as well as offline to get your choice college which is government as well as private.

Faculty

4

faculty is very educated and well trained in teaching and in easier ways.so basically there are total 19 subjects in this course for a term of 4 and half year with 3 basic subjects anatomy physiology and biochemistry in 1st year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
