The overall remark for the college is average.If you are applying for the normal graduation degree in the college then it is ok but if you want to have a good theoritical and practical knowledge you should apply for some better college or universities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is average it includes the general biotechnology syllabus.The exam is conducted annually every year in the month of March followed by the practical exams which is held in the month of April or May.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very less after the graduation.Institute or university do not provide the placement for the students. Students have to look for opportunities on their own. College do not provide the internship.
College Events
Some of the good events are organised every year like national or international conference on biosciences/biodiversity or environment.Apart from this Freshers party and fairwell party are organised by the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is under the budget of a common man it costs around 30,000 per year for the bsc biotechnology students.So it's neither cheap not costly. Though university is under state government but this course is self-finance based.
Fees and Financial Aid
No special scholarship or loan facility is offered by the university or college. But the students can apply for the scholarship provided by the government of Uttar Pradesh every year.One can apply for loan in the banks on their own.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities involves different competition like quiz,debate, painting, mehnadi,rangoli, singing, dancing, instruments playing etc. Youth fest is organised every year for the students in which they can showcase their talent.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good. It is just like every normal hostel ,provided the students with a room on sharing for two students.Facilities like electricity and purified water is available for 24hours.
Alumni/Alumna
A very few alumini are there who have secured a good position. While the seniors who have passed the graduation in biotechnology mostly apply for post-graduation in top colleges of India and later on prepare for net exams.
Admission
I got admission in the institute by the entrance exam conducted every year by the csjmu university.I got a rank letter in which I secured the first rank during the year 2017.Then,I opted for online counselling after that I got admission.
Faculty
The faculty is average here neither too good nor bad.Some of the faculty are good and have experience of few years but few are new or do not teach well upto the standard of graduation students.One should focus on self-study also.
