College review

Still the college development have to be done in all aspects. Though this college have the status of top 10 colleges of Karnataka, many measures are to be taken. Internship for the students have to be provided, placement for students is not sufficient, that should be provided and many more. In the same way our college is going to be an University soon, which is a healthy growth.

The course that i have enrolled have have a great focus all over India. The course provides a large number of placements. We have three internal, where the top two score are selected. The project and internship is given the marks. At last main subject is given. All the marks a taken in a certain proportion and calculated.

Placement is decent. The selection for job is not too high nor too low. The average placement for us is 95%. The average placement salary is 8 lakh per annum. Yes our college provide intership. This internship is not of high level but stipend is not provided by any of the intership.

Events we celebrate are ankura by IEEE, Roborikishi by Robotics club, Rubix by IEEE computer society, etc. We also celebrate college day called techniek, ethnic day, sports events, and lots of cultural events.

The fee we paid is total of ?1,50,000 per annum for a general category student. Total of ?60,000 for college fee which includes library fee, course registration fee, etc. A ?90,000 for the college hostel. It is not feasible for a common man. It is like paying half of the income of a parents to the college itself. I would say the college fee is expensive.

The college don't provide any scholarships or loans. But it provides money for startups. The scholarship we apply is from karnataka state government that is vidhyasiri e-pass. No economic help is provided by the college.

The college does conduct the extracurricular activities, sports. We have college level sports, inter college sports and state level sports and others. It provides access to all the labs. There is no lack ok participation for the labs.

I stay in the hostel. This hostel was altered and made it look good recently. They provide three sharing room. Hostel wifi and the gym is included. The food they provide is of South Indian and no choice are provided. And a common bathroom and toilet are provided. For all this facility the fee is ?80,000. It is paid during the admission to the college.

We have a great collection of alumni. Even the college chairman was the college alumnus. Large number of alumni provide economic help to startups for the students. The senior are the backbone for the junior to move forward. They help the junior in all the aspects like education, sports, extracurricular activities, guidelines for internship, help in leading the clubs in the college.

I wrote karnataka CET exam in march of 2018 and got a rank of 7213 throughout the state. Then i applied for top 10 Karnataka CET selected colleges. Finally i got The National Institute of Engineering and the subject is computer science and engineering.

They are friendly. They involve in the subject teaching and make the subject an interesting one. Faculties are on time for their job. Teaching faculty involve in every hardwork of a student. Their support is the major point of college development.
