A Short Review about my College

There are many negative remarks. If the college is like a school, they will still spoon feed everything. The rules are so strict. The college will start at 8:00 am. The gates will be closed by 8:15 am. After that, no one is allowed.

My college is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The course curriculum followed by them is good. The curriculum includes the fundamentals of the respective branch. As I came from the mechanical engineering branch, our curriculum deals with lots of fundamentals, which is very important to make the foundation of the subject stronger.

The maximum placements are given to computer science engineers. For our batch, we placement companies like Medha Servos, Hyundai, and some other small companies. The average pay scale lies somewhere between $2 and 3.6 lakh. Our college does not provide any internships.

Our college is named after that event. It celebrates every event. Our college fest is conducted at the end of December for the students. The celebrations start at the start of December. A technical fest is also conducted.

Compared with the infrastructure they provided, it is too expensive. They don't have enough infrastructure in their lab, but they hike fees every year. When I joined, it was about 65k/-but it has increased to 1.05 lakh/-

No loan facility is offered by our college, but we can pay the fee in two installments. Every year, the college selects merit students and offers scholarships to them. A total of ten students are chosen from the entire college, and they present the cheque on the day of the festival.

We have one cricket ground and one football ground, which are spacious. Every year, tournaments are conducted at the college. Intercollege matches are also conducted. The sports have only small numbers of kits.

My friend was used to staying in the hostel. It costs 70k per year. The infrastructure was a bit OK. There will be no a/c in the rooms. The hostel mess food will be below average rated. Boys and girls have separate hostels. The girls hostel is on the college campus. but the boys' hostel is outside the campus.

The network with senior students is quite good. They used to interact with us in a good manner. They used to give us some tips for studying and curricular activities. They used to give the freshers party where interaction between us would increase.

I wrote the AP-ECET as my entrance exam to get admission to this college. Through online counselling, I have opted for this college. I got a seat in this college with a rank of 400. I got my joining report through an online website, and on the next day, I reported with all my certificates.

All the faculty who taught us are MTech graduates. There were some senior faculty who dealt with their specialized subjects. Not everyone is prefect. Some faculty are not good at their subjects, and they ruin the subject in that semester.
