College infrastructure and environment is best for technical educations. Its infrastructure cover across 20 acre. There is two building, one for administrative block and 4 streams (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Mining) and another one is for 3 streams (Computer Science, Information technology and Electronics and telecommunications). College infrastructure has a beautiful garden, a sport ground, canteen and parking area.

My college is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The curriculum are reviewe and updated time to time by AICTE and CSVTU. Curriculum is based on 60% theory and 40% practical examination. There is total 8 semester (4 year program) which contains more than 45 theory subject and more than 30 practical. Also curriculum have one minor project and one major project that is compulsary for final year's students. After every 2 semester there is an industrial training program that is compulsory for every students. Exam structure for the bachelor of engineering is described by AICTE/CSVTU. For the course is semester examination system which conduct in every semester, One on November- December and one is on Jun-July. For each semester practical exam also conducted by the university. Every students have to appear on both theory and practical exam. Also there is two mid semester exam are organised at college level, which marks is added to semester marks.

Placements & job opportunities are quite good. There is 30 to 40% placements on each year. Training and placement department is active and giving their best effort for placements. Also training and internship are provided by the college management and TPO cell. After every two semesters, college provides training and accommodation for industrial training and internship to the students who wants to do such activities on other cities or states.

"KAUSHALAM" is one of the famous technical event of the central india which is organised by our college. There is technical events as well as fun zone and various competitions that held on the KAUSHALAM. Also college organise Annual Functions and Award Ceremony, Alumni-meets programs, and many cultural activities. Technical talk and guest lectures are also provided by the college for students and many alumni, guest faculties from IITs and NITs are invited for such programs.

This is a government college and the fee structure of the college is possible, not so high as compare to other colleges. There is no any fees applied for female students, and male students are provided scholarship as their semester fees by state government.

There is loan offered by government called "Education Loan", and many scholarship program are available on my college. Merit Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, ST/SC/OBS Scholarship are available on college. Also alumni of our college adopt some students who are financially weak.

College have more than 40 labs for various streams like chemistry, physics, computer, mechanics, electronic and electrical labs. Every year college organise a sports which consist of many indoor and outdoor games like cricket, badminton, chess, carom etc.

No, I have not opted for the hostel, But my friends told me that hostels are very good according to infrastructure, food and other facilities. there is 5 hostels available for the institute. 3 hostel for male students and 2 hostels for female students.

Alumni network of the college is strong. There is a social site available for communicating with alumni. Alumni are very helpful. And they provide their guidelines and supports. Also alumni are invited for guest lectures and technical talk organised by the college for the students.

I got admitted on my college through Lateral Entry Program. There is 3 way to got admission on my college. First one through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Main, formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an examination organised by the National Testing Agency in India. Second way is Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test - Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) conducts CG PET under the aegis of Chattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). And last one is Lateral Entree Program - The Lateral Entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester) in bachelor of engineering. District Technical Education, Chhattisgarh State (CGDTE) organise a counselling for merit students who appears in any one of the above mentioned program. One who allotted for my college through counselling can get admission on my college.

There is highly skilled professor on my college. All faculty members are active and always ready for helps and support the students. There is seven streams on my college, and each stream has one Head of the Department and at-least 5 to 6 Professors. All faculty member are hold PHD or M.Tech qualifications. Senior faculty have more than 20 to 25 years of teaching experience, and professors have more than 10 years of teaching experience
