Remarks

Overall we can give 5 ratting for this College any time. This College have NAAC CERTIFIED A grade certification. The Campus is second largest in West Bengal. The students will always like to share their views about this College. This college is autonomous. No negative remakes but some professor are anger.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure varies from subject to subject. Few subjects will have a lot of assignments and class participation component. Few exams were a mix of objective and subjective. It varied as per the profs. Many a times you would have to submit reports. Only few exams were traditional in a sense. Rest were quite well balanced to evaluate a student.

Placement Experience

Not good about job placement, Students till from this College get jobs from others sources. Students get stipend as government means scholarship only, the college doesn't provide from his fund. Students from SC,ST,OBC CATEGORY.

College Events

Freshers,Nabin Baran, Yearly function. Theses are the mainly events observed in this College. In a Academic year. Others than The Bengali most awaited Swarasati Puja also observed in this College with fun.

Fees and Financial Aid

College has scholarship facility for meritorious students. Beside this , government scholarship also available here I had received 2-3 times worth ? 5100 per year. Which was enough for my college fees. There no restriction to get any scholarship.

Campus Life

All sports playing here. Football, cricket, badminton, basketball. etc. All game have couches. Who help us. How I am a good cricket for our team he help for this. All game have one one couch. He help like a family for practice.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities I have not opted for hostel. But one of friend had opted the hostel. I have some overview of the same. 1st for boys and girls, separate hostel is there. Hostel is situated within the campus. It is very easy to attend class at any time. It is only 1 min walking distance. If I talk about structure, the structure is average.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. When I was in 2nd year I met few of senior students who came to help in practical classess and motivate us. They also guides to the students what is next can be done after graduation.

Admission

My main subject accountancy. I got 70? in accountancy. Now I fillup from in this college. Got admission. College is best for B.Com student. This college teaching quality is best. All sir is best. Etc.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
