Review of My BTech College

Various positive remarks were there like faculties were good in teaching and very supportive. The location of college was in good place which is free from crowdy place and noisy atmosphere. The negative things are like local students used to do politics there in the campus which was not good for students. Placements were not there for Civil engineering. Infrastructure still need to improve.

Course was so good and as was the instructor for civil engineering programme. Almost every subjects were taught during BTech time which you can expect from other colleges also except one or two subjects like Hydrology & Bridge engineering. The exam structure consist of in two phases viz Internal exam and external exams. Sum of both internal and external was 100. Internal exam consists of 40 marks which was further divided as Two class tests of 10 marks each and mid SEM exam of 20 marks. External exam was end SEM exam which is of 60 Marks.

Placements in Civil engineering discipline is not at all. No companies of civil engineering visited for placement during my graduation period. College doesn't provide internship specially in civil engineering.

Various events celebrated in my college are as follows. 1) Udaan 2) Techfest 3)Umang Udaan is basically about searching new talents from freshers. The students who have some talent can join the fest and show his/her talent there. It consists of singing ,dancing , mimicry, play and much more. Techfest is the like cultural festival and an innovation type fest. Here you can make robots, hydraulic crane , bridge for bearing loads from superstructure and many more events. So many stalls used to be install for goody lovers and shopping. Umang is an music event where any one can perform there like a dancer or singer.

Fee structure is Feasible . The fee structure of BTech during 2013-2017 session was 80 thousands for all semester ,that means it was 10 thousand per semester. For hostels and mess, you have to pay extra fees which was 2300 per month. The room provided was double seater.

You can take the bank loan from the bank. bank of India bank was there which can avail this loan facility for you . The other bank was also there in the campus which is Punjab National Bank , you can opt loan facility from there also once your department makes you available the necessary documents.

Labs were well maintained and was conducted properly by instructor.almost all students can perform laboratory experiments in same time. Every necessary equipments were there for you to conduct experiment. Sports facilities were not there for other courses except for Physical education students . There was only one cricket ground and only physical education department students were allowed to use.

Hostel infrastructure was average.facilities were not that much. Most of the time ,the water was sleeping through the walls and if you will complain to administration about that, hardly they will take any action. Neither sports facilities were there nor reading room was there.

Few of the alumni or senior students were in our network which is very helpful for us. Some of the alumni are really in good position while some of them are still preparing. No facilities like any group or any interaction with seniors were done from college side but individually you can contact your seniors personally.

I appeared in the JEE mains exam conducted by CSAB. Then I fill some of the college's for getting admission in BTech,I got this College named Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A central University ) Bilaspur Chhattisgarh in 2013.

The faculty of My discipline was excellent. They taught the course so nicely. They were very excellent in explaining laboratory works. most of the faculties were having PhD from IIT's and all professors have vast experience of teaching in there respective courses. They were supportive and helpful in every aspects.
