Remarks
Amity University is overall a good place to study as a person gets more experienced in a university rather than a college. Moreover the teachers are good and the infrastructure is great. It's my final year in Amity University and I am thinking of pursuing LLM from here .
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is very carefully and efficiently provided. Internal assessment is of 30 marks which includes marks for Assignment and presentation and also for attendance. External exam is of 70 marks and the marks are equally distributed from all the modules.
Placement Experience
There is a placement drive going on in the college and there are many companies that are interested in picking the students. College does not provide internships but college provides contacts where the students can possibly get internship
College Events
There are many events celebrated in the college throughout the year. The most awaited event is AYF- Amity Youth Festival and' Sangathan ' which is sports event. Besides that many seminars , guest lectures takes place throughout the year
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure in Amity Law School is a little cheaper than other courses but it is still expensive.Fee structure in Amity Law School or LLB is around RS 1,20,000 (approx. ) Per semester. RS 20,000 is refundable security deposit.
Fees and Financial Aid
The University provides very good scholarship criteria. If a student scores above 85% then he/she is eligible for 100% scholarship and there are various other criterion. Scholarships are also provided in the sports quota
Campus Life
The labs are fully equipped but the more important thing is that the library has all the books required by a Law student . University has all types of sports facilities such as Lawn tennis courts, basketball courts and football field etc .
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good and the senior students provide help to the Juniors in all matters . They provide with the notes and with their experience which is helpful to junior students and it is especially helpful to the new comers.
Admission
First of all, I filled an online form which was followed by an entrance test. After qualifying the entrance test, I gave an interview where I was asked many questions about my schooling and if I had any knowledge of the Course I was going to pursue. After a few days a merit list was published and my name was there.
Faculty
The faculty in LLB is great. Most of them are practicing Lawyers or PHDs.The teachers are very friendly and patient with the students. They try their level best to make the concepts clear to the students.
