Remarks

There are a lot of positive and few negative things but the major advantage is that it is a government funded college so the fee structure is low and the teachers have a lot of experience which really helps the students. The negative thing is that the college has a poor infrastructure and irresponsible authorities which makes it difficult for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is diverse and is a combination of both practical and theoretical subjects which helps in improving both knowledge and skills of students. The exam structure involves two internal papers of 10 marks each and a final semester paper of 80 marks which allows students to study throughout the semester. There are total six semester throughout the course of 3 years.

Placement Experience

1

Unfortunately the college does not offer any placement opportunities or internships. Although, the students can secure the internship on their own but the college doesn’t play a role in that. Therefore, it is a big problem and a major drawback for students studying there. However, the college used to provide internships few years back but since the students never took internships seriously so the Dean and HOD of college decided to stop this practice because it further hampers the image of their university.

College Events

1.5

There are some occasions celebrated at our college like Freshers day where all the new students participate and one of them becomes Mr. Fresher based on their talent and confidence. We also celebrate ‘Uddhyam’ an annual fest that includes dancing, singing and sports competition. The fest goes on for three consecutive days where it id mandatory for all the students to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since Mlsu is a government university, the fee structure is feasible and the fees for per year is Rs 20000. However, the payment seat costs about Rs. 60000 per year which makes it to Rs 180000/- total.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not offer any scholarship or loan facility but the fees is very low so it is economic. The university offers discount to students belonging to scheduled caste/ schedule tribe or Other below caste (OBC).

Campus Life

2

The college has computer lab, gymnasium, badminton court, digital classrooms, auditorium, seminar hall, library, canteen, football ground, air conditioned classrooms and water cooler. The college has all the facilities and most of them were always in working condition which made students comfortable.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Since I am a localite, so I have no knowledge about the hostel fee but I believe it is very cheap and the university offers accommodation facility to girls only and not boys. The hostel is located in the University campus itself that makes it easy for students to travel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior students and alumni are very helpful towards the freshers and they introduce them with the basic features and also provide information about the rules and regulations that one must follow.

Admission

The admission process is easy. For pursuing BBA course at UCCMS, MLSU an individual has to go through an entrance test that comprises of four sections mainly Quantitative, Logical, General Knowledge and English. Once the entrance test is given then merit lists are generated and accordingly admissions are granted. However, the admission is not entirely based on entrance test as the college also takes class 12th percentage into consideration.

Faculty

4

The faculty is great and most of the teachers are Phd holders or have some professional degree and they focus on smart learning through management games, digital classes and field trips which makes it interesting for the students and it becomes a great experience to learn.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Once a year, you must give an annual exam. If you're in a different stream, you'll have to meet other requirements. For example, if you're a science and technology student, you'll have to take certain practical tests in laboratories and other settings. If you work in the field of commerce, you must do some good work in the fields of commerce and economics.

Remarks:

Mody is endowed with first-rate infrastructure, but it lacks any sort of social life. There aren't any inter-college competitions going on right now. Because Jainism is practised at the university, no nonvegetarian food is available on campus. The professors are fine.I went on a campus tour right after finishing my 12th grade boards. Where an entrance exam was held before admission was granted. A skype interview was offered to students who passed the entrance exam. Students who passed the skype interview were given opportunities and fee submission information. Each professor taught five to six classes a day and was an expert in their field. They advised us. Advising meant having a lot of conversations, ostensibly about credits, requirements, and majors. Even so, those discussions served as a springboard for lessons on how to develop relationships with adults other than parents, bosses, and guidance counsellors.
