Byk college nashik: review

The college is great. If you’re doing a job enrolling in byk is the best thing you can do. The staff is helpful for your schedule and you can work and study easily which is quite uncommon for other colleges. Or you can pursue you side career while studying as you are free most of the time.

We has semester pattern with two semesters first in october and second in april, also there are 2 internals. Which is prescribed by pune university. The exam structure is pretty straight being heavily theorotical.

No, there is no internship or placement faculty. But that is very straight forward thing nothing is falsly claimed by the college. But you can get decent jobs due to the name of college. HOD does keep you updated about few oppurtunities.

There are few events like eureka which is management fest that take place. Students are actively invovled in this fest and everything is arranged and executed by the students. Some excellent performers and awarded in the fest as well.

As far as open category is considered the fees in high. It is around 20-35k. Fees are different for different years. But compared to other management colleges the fees is less. But as said earlier with no placements and decent faculty, the fees are high.

There are freeships for reserved category students. Scholarships aren’t offered as far as i know. Though you are appreciated and awarded on yearly fest. Government scholarships maybe available but college doesn’t provide.

Sports is great. The cricket team of byk is famous i have no idea about other sports. Cricket team do participate in local as well as national sports. There are few alumnis who are playing for ranji and national team as well.

I have not opted for hostel. There’s a hostel which is like 2 mins away from college. The college and the hostel are at prime location of nashik that is college road. Mcd, subway etc are literally opposite to the hostel. I have no idea about fees and structure of hostel.

No. Alumni network isn’t great. Actually there’s nothing like alumni network. If you make friends with seniors that is okay but there is no internal procedure to get you connected with the alumni or seniors.

I applied for the UG course, bachelor in business administration after my 12th std. I scored 64% in 12th through science stream. Merit lists were displayed throughout the admission duration. I was in merit list and secured the seat. But management quota works too.

Faculty is okay, lectures aren’t very regular and teachers have not much to do. But they are very supportive and friendly unlike other colleges, you won’t feel pressurized for exams and submission. Teachers help you with everything.
