Remarks

Positive:- It’s a good college if you have lot of money to invest in and if you want to land up in IT firms with a handsome package. Negative:- It’s all about money at the end, and the college is very strict when it comes to fees but when they are entitled to return money/security deposits all your efforts will go in vain. They will make you different departments but eventually you will end up with 0 penny in your hand.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is vast and full of knowledge for lads but there should be more practical approach when it comes to mechanical stream rather theoretical. Exam structure consists of 4 exams in a semester. 2 sessional exams of 50 marks each and mid term and semester exam of 100 marks.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement cell has an outstanding opportunity for lads to get into some of the great IT companies in India like CTS, Infosys, IBM, Indian Army too comes for the UES. No college did not provide internship till 2016. We had to go to different companies for internships by our sources.

College Events

3.5

There were many exceptional events occurred during my tenure in college. Most prominent one were freshers party and annual events loaded with famous celebrities and opportunity for college students to participate in them and showcase their talent in various fields like singing, dancing, poetry, fashion shows and live concerts of different bollywood celebrities and sometimes hollywood too. There were sports events covering on field and off field games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive and you won’t get your security amount back(hostel as well as college), not at all happy when it comes to money. Not a single person got his/her security deposit back in my knowledge which was not a small amount

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship/loan facility available. College is very strict in terms of money. They want to make maximum money from the students. It’s a money driven college where scholarships matters least. The late fee fine system is very strict and they impose lot of fines on students without considering their financial background.

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities are good and ample opportunities are there to increase your talent and take part in different activities. Labs are mediocre in terms of practical knowledge. They are not much bothered about students getting practical knowledge and understanding of topics.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, opted for hostel for 2 years. Hostel infrastructure was great but the quality of mess provided was not upto the mark but better than rest of the college in that region as per reviews from different sources.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni network is good, infact they call alumni to college to enlighten new students and help them to settle in. Seniors are also helpful during college days if you manage to make good relations and the best part is zero tolerance towards ragging.

Admission

On the basis of 10th and 12th marks as it was above 85% overall in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and face to face Interview which helped me to get though college entrance process despite not giving entrance exam.

Faculty

2.5

Initially the faculty was great, most of them were from IIT and NIT but later the quality of faculty reduced as the 4 years progressed. In fact maximum good faculties started to drop out from college, don’t know the exact reason.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
